There are a few options. Get a seamstress tape and wrap it around the center of the calf and just below the knees. The second option is to go down a size from your current size.

I bought these gaiters after my old boots broke down and I was left with only Duck shoes (leather uppers, rubber bottoms). (created by naeB LL. ) As a kid in boy scouts, I had an old pair of WWII gaiters that I figured- What the hell is going on here? These were purchased after some research. When first putting them on, get the under strap into its buckle without zipping up the front. Although it does have velcro, you get the idea. Remove the gaiters and secure the strap with the buckle. Then, with the strap in front of your heel, put on the gaiters. After that, close the front of the house. The top of the gaiters are held in place by a strap at the top. Snow will not be able to enter once the settings have been adjusted. These gaiters have a nice design to them. The material is nice, and the fit is perfect. These are something I intend to keep for many years. In conclusion – It's a good buy, and it's a good value for the money.
It's extremely difficult to estimate the size. I ordered an xl and it was too big for the pants and boots I was wearing at the time, so I ordered a large and they were too big. I went with an xxl because the xl wouldn't fit over my snow pants. They didn't have it at the time, so I'm returning all of them. I gave it three stars because they appear to be nice if they fit (be aware that fit has nothing to do with shoe size).
These leg gaiters are better than others I've owned in the past, and they're well-made with the exception of one flaw. I wish the bottom supplemental closure velcro tab had been designed differently. It's only about an inch or so long, and I'm afraid that if I pry the velcro tab away from its closure, the velcro will eventually separate and come apart; I hope I'm wrong and this isn't the product's weak link. What I like best about it is the simple adjustment I made to the bottom strap to accommodate a knee brace I occasionally wear. This gives me a better closure on that gaiter, and both gaiters stay closed and secure as a result. After multiple snowstorms of a foot or more, there has been no problem with water seeping through. If I ever needed these again, I would definitely purchase them - I'm not convinced.
In the snow, these are excellent. Unfortunately, the second time I used them, part of the Velcro separated from the closure tab, so I'm afraid they won't last long. The under-appreciated The foot strap is flimsy and plasticky. It would be more reliable to use a canvas strap. These, however, are reasonable in terms of price. The description of the size is accurate.
It was difficult to find Gator in a size that would accommodate a man with large feet and a woman with large calves. This is a good middle ground that accomplishes both goals. The vast majority of them are simply too small. The only other issue was that the velcro separated from the fabric it was adhered to when the extra flap covering the bottom of the zipper was removed. It only took 10 seconds in a sewing machine to fix it, and if it happened in the middle of the woods, it wouldn't let in any snow, but it would be difficult to get off. Doesn't run the product, but having to fix two pairs of them yourself gives you the impression that it isn't very durable. We're only going on one trip, so I think it'll hold up, but we'll see.
The quality of these gaiters is excellent. Depending on how low in the laces they are hooked, they fit snugly on the heel and front of the shoe. The front Velcro strip ensures a secure closure that keeps water out. This pair of gaiters is fantastic.
These gators appear to be among the best; I've worn them on and off several times with no issues, and the Velcro is thick and wide, indicating high quality. Keep the moisture out at all costs. We hiked all day in deep, wet snow and didn't get wet at all, despite the fact that it was almost knee-deep in snow. They're tall, so they don't slip down, and I have no complaints about them.
These are far more appealing than donning my bibs. When I'm working my lawn business in the summer, it works out perfectly. In the fall, the wind is blowing the leaves. You're not going to be let down.
