You are either a Medium or a Large size. If you're wearing large boots or have strong calves, I'd recommend the Large; if you're wearing smaller dayhiking boots and have thinner legs, I'd recommend the Medium. If you ordered them from us and the size was incorrect, we'd be happy to exchange them for the correct size; if you have any additional questions, please contact us at 1-888-888-888-888. 888- 401- 4327 Kevin Beckwithbr>Gear for Adventure thanks you,br>Kevin Beckwithbr>Gear for Adventure thanks you,br>Kevin Beckwithbr>Gear for
The title, after all, reads "Women's." I ordered a Medium and they fit perfectly. Because I'm short, they go all the way up to my knees. Despite the fact that my calves are muscular, Medium still leaves plenty of room for additional clothing- Good luck in your search for the warmest leggings, bell bottom jeans, and other similar items.
Yes, unless you have a large cav, your gator will be very loose, and if you are snowshoeing, the snow will be flipped up and into the gator.
Yes, I believe that is correct. It's got a lot of fiber in it. It also protects you from the elements, such as water, snow, and leeches.

These gaiters are of excellent quality, with a velcro closure and a strong fabric. Over the course of a two-year period, the leather strap held up well. A week-long backpacking trip through rocky and wet terrain is planned. I am a petite woman (5'3") who wears a size 7 shoe. I'm a size 5 in shoes, but my calves are huge (13. At its widest point, it measures 5" in diameter. I originally ordered a size Small, but they were too tight around my calves for me to climb on uneven terrain, and layering would have been impossible. They fit well with two layers of thin hiking pants and a thick pair of wool socks that I ordered in size Medium. They go all the way up to my knees (any higher and they'd be too long). br>br>Conclusion: br>br> Medium is appropriate for a 5'3" female with a waist circumference of 13. 5 lb. calves The Small is a better choice if your legs are shorter (and/or your calves are smaller).
I bought these for a trip to Iceland in early September and can't say enough about how well they worked in the changing weather (rainy for an hour, sunny for an hour, rainy for 20 minutes, sunny for 20 minutes, etc. ). They fit over my ankle after a little finagling. supporting hiking boots that kept everything below the knees dry without causing me to overheat like full-length boots would. on a raincoat They were very easy to put on/take off in less than 5 minutes once I found the right fit, and they were very easy to store even when wet once I found the right fit. br>br>My only complaint is that the bottom strap (the one that runs underneath the boot) could be a little longer- It took a lot of effort to get them to fit properly around the boot, and I believe that this could be easily fixed with a longer strap that allows them to sit higher. They also slouched a little throughout the day - They didn't bother me too much, and they still served their purpose, though if I hadn't taken the time to readjust them beforehand, some of my photos would have appeared uneven.
And I didn't write a review until I returned from my trip. br>br>These were my first pair of gaiters, and they were of excellent quality. They have a large Velcro strip for securing them over your pants and a small hook for attaching them to your shoelaces. I had no idea how to put them on, but a quick YouTube search revealed the solution. br>br>During my hike, they stood up to the test and kept all of the dirt off my pants. The leather straps that go under the boot provide a secure fit while walking. br>br>To clean them, I ran them through the washing machine with cold water and hung them to dry. This is an excellent purchase that will serve you well for a long time.
I wore these while hiking through the Scottish moorland, and they kept the bog at bay. These only work over something else thick (like pants) because I'm a shorter person with thick muscular calves. They stayed up the entire time, but I'm not sure I could lend them to someone with skinnier calves or legs than I do. I'm not sure how long they'd last. The buckle that goes over your boot stayed in place the entire time. br>br>I'm deducting one star (wish it could just be a half) because fastening the "simple" buckle on the top was a bit of a pain. I had to tighten it all the way, and I wish the strap was longer so I could get an even better fit.
Even with jeans and another layer, the medium didn't fit my 13-inch calf. It cannot be adjusted to fit a wide range of calf sizes. It appears to be of good quality, except for the sizing issue.
These gaiters are ideal for use in the great outdoors. Hiking and cross-country skiing are two of my favorite activities. They're great for cross-country skiing. I was delighted to replace my old 30 year gaiters, which had a back velcro closure, with these pair, which had a front velcro closure. They're a smidgeon too tall for me, but they're waterproof and secure, which is all I need.
trail! Winter hiking is one of my favorite pastimes, but I prefer to venture off the beaten path. Because of the fluctuating snow depths, trail is usually a problem. I didn't want the bulk of a snowpant, and I didn't have the funds to purchase ski or snowboarding pants. I'd never considered wearing gaiters until my sister suggested it, and they ended up being the perfect fit for my needs and budget! Because the front closure is all Velcro, I was a little hesitant to give it a shot, but it turned out to be a great seal. When I go off trail, I've been in snow up to my knees, but none of it got inside; the material is sturdy, and it adds another layer of warmth to your calves while also providing protection from the elements and brush/branches. trail. They have a hook at the top of the foot for gaiter eyelets on boots, and the bottom strap is long enough to accommodate my YakTrax. The bottoms are sinched with a very tight-fitting elastic band. yet- An adjustable toggle buckle secures the top with a stretchy elastic band. I'm really taken aback by your work. I wear ankle boots, hiking socks, a base layer, and cotton lined athletic pants, and they all fit perfectly, so I could wear something bulkier like jeans or a mid-length jacket. Trail/hiking boots with a calf strap, or even streamlined snowboots They more than paid for themselves in my opinion the first time I wore them! LOVE!.
My wife's calves are quite small, so these have to be cinched all the way down to be even close. The fit guide suggests fitting them according to your shoe size, but my wife's calves are quite small, so these have to be cinched all the way down to be even close. My pair, on the other hand, were just big enough for my calf muscles. Sizing is a challenge, but it worked out beautifully.
