They protect you from just below the knee to the ankle, as well as over the tongue of the shoe. If your shoes aren't snake-proof, you'll be in serious trouble.
I am not aware of any. It's probably too big to run with. We also recommend wearing snake gaiters with boots or heavy shoes that can't be penetrated by fangs - Shoes that aren't tennis or athletic aren't appropriate.
We don't sell winter snow gaiters on Amazon, but we do sell a winter snow gaiter. Find the ASIN number: You can find the separate listing by searching for B07GF6LRLX.
Underneath the shoe, there isn't any kind of strap; There is no need for a strap to keep the gaiter and front flap in place.

After examining a variety of options, I decided that snake gaiters would be the most versatile with any boots I might be wearing. I decided to buy the Razer Gaiters after reading a lot of reviews, and they arrived within a few days. As soon as I buckled one of the gaiters for the first time, it began to fall apart at the stitching. I had to use duct tape to keep it together as it got worse throughout the day. I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of these gaiters and will be returning them today.
Made in the USA is stated prominently in the product description. When I received the product, I noticed that it was made in China on the inside tag. This type of dishonesty will not be tolerated.
Here in the southwest, where there are a lot of rattlers, I used them for the first time. They were very comfortable to wear and stayed put well. One of the straps did come undone twice (we did a lot of walking through thick cactus and desert shrub), but that wasn't unexpected, and once I wrapped it around it, it stayed in place. I have short calves, so I could feel it rubbing the back of my thigh if I raised my leg above a 90-degree angle, but it wasn't painful. They are simple to put on and do an excellent job of keeping cactus needles and thorns out of my calves. I really like how the front guard wraps around your foot. They're also simple to put on. The rapid release was criticized by someone. They appear to be of low quality, but they are identical to the ones I have on my backpack, which I use four times a day. 5 times per week is the minimum. They are durable and served me well. I also like how simple and quick they are to put on. I had another pair of gaiters that were even worse than these, despite the fact that they were slightly less expensive. I tried on some high-end Irish Setter snake boots, but they were a disaster. So far, it's been a fantastic experience, and I'm glad I decided to go with them. Just keep in mind that if you wear them with tennis shoes, they won't cover your entire foot, leaving a portion of your body exposed to snakes, who can bite through light leather and fabric. I pair mine with a pair of heavy Danner Pronghorn boots, and the combination is fantastic. I don't have to ride home in the desert heat with them on, so I just pop them off and stash them in the back seat when I'm done. It only takes a few seconds to put them on. I showed them to my brother, and he's ditching his snake boots in favor of these.
We cleaned up an old country cemetery in rattlesnake and copperhead country in southern Oklahoma, so I bought these for my wife. While I mowed, she was removing limbs. She said they were comfortable to wear and that she wore them for four hours, with the only drawback being that she sweated under them. She didn't come across any poisonous snakes, but she did walk through a lot of briars without getting bitten. Both she and I were confident that the Razer Gaiters would protect us from a snake bite, which was well worth the peace of mind.
They're great for a variety of things, not just snakes! In fact, the snake protection is merely a bonus. These were purchased because when I cut firewood in the field, the stickers completely adhere to and cover my shoelaces, making it difficult to remove them. Also, watch out for blackberry bushes that rip the skin off your legs. My front legs are covered in scars from various branches and other objects. I don't feel invincible anymore when I'm wearing these, and I'm ready to get into the thick of things. Everything, including snakes. This high-quality item is fantastic.
I'm in Florida, and I'm snooping around the woods doing county lake inspections in order to get them re-opened. officially recognized I'm in some pretty dangerous territory, where there are a lot of water moccasins, pigmy rattlers, and eastern Dimondbacks. Even with gators on, it's scary, but it's nice to have them as a safety net. These gators are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I like how the sectioned panels allow me to flex my ankles while still fitting snugly. For what you get with these, the price is reasonable. But there is one point. I wish the ankle protection for regular shoes was a little lower. But it's ideal for boots.
I bought a pair of these for my wife and I to use when we go hiking. I also go hunting, and while I have snake boots, I intend to combine them with hiking boots for more rugged terrain. They're relatively light and made of tough material. They will, without a doubt, stop a snake bite from any species of pit viper. I wish there was a strap that went around the top of the foot to secure it. However, this isn't difficult to do, and they stay in place as is. Both my and my wife's legs fit perfectly in the one-size-fits-all style.
I've never had a pair of snake gaiters like these. They're also reasonably priced, which adds to the appeal. I bought them for myself at first, but now everyone wants to know where I got them. They're ideal for me because I enjoy being outside. Also, unlike the other gators I've owned, I prefer the style of these. They were too bulky and constantly moved around.
