However, there is no size chart with the measurements you require from the manufacturer. I believe they will work. These gaiters have a "larger circumference to accommodate plastic boots," according to the manufacturer. As a result, I believe you will be all right.
You should be able to wear size medium. br> I'm 5'8", 165 lbs, and wear size 11 hiking boots. Medium is a good fit for me. I ordered Large at first, but they were too big, so I returned them and replaced them with Medium.
The buckle is on the outside of the boot, and the strap goes under the arch. Great product; when purchasing, keep upper calf and boot sizes in mind.

Bullet- To tromp around in the snow and brush, you'll need proof gators. These are the most effective, as well as the best-looking. (See what I did there?) and to boot (see what I did there?) I usually wear a men's size 10 US boot, but I went with the Medium because my calves are small. They're a little big on me, but they fit around my boots perfectly. So, if you're thinking about getting some for the first time, go with the medium size and ask yourself, "Are my calves bigger or smaller than the average?" Then go up or down in size as needed. Only those with extremely unusual shoe sizes should consider their shoe size first, followed by their calve size. Of course, this is just my method, which isn't perfect, as I mentioned earlier, but I hope it's helpful! Have a good time out there!.
On a number of occasions, I've used them. These are excellent gaiters in general. I ordered extra large because my boot size is 48, but the size must refer to the size of your calves, so even when tightened all the way with the adjusters, they are a little loose on me now (6'1, calves 40cm around)). With my crampons, I've pierced a few holes and gashes in them, but they've held up well. I believe that because mine are a little loose, they are more likely to rip or get in the way. All of the securing hooks and straps around the boot are extremely secure and adjustable. When these get worn out, I'll probably get another pair in a smaller size.
My second pair of these gaiters arrived today, and they appear to be a good fit. I haven't worn them yet because the first pair, in XL, was far too big despite using the provided sizing guide; the lack of elastic at the bottom edge makes sizing more important and difficult than, say, the Rocky Mountain High gaiters, which have elastic. These gaiters are significantly larger and heavier than RMH's, but they will undoubtedly last longer. The RMH gaiters, on the other hand, were so light that they could be thrown into a pack without a second thought. The crocodiles, on the other hand, will not be tossed in so casually. Bringing them along comes with a significant weight penalty.
I've had a lot of practice with these. I purchased them primarily for the purpose of going on a sheep hunt. They were able to withstand the test of time. The understrap of most gaiters will wear out after a few days of hunting, if not a week. After that, the hunt is completed with paracord, which must be replaced once or twice a day. br>br>These were also purchased by my hunting companion (we were unaware that we had purchased the same pair of gaiters). If you're going on a sheep or goat hunt, I wouldn't look at anything else but these. br>br>If you're going on a sheep or goat hunt, I wouldn't look at anything else but these. These will suffice for light hiking, but they may be overkill for more serious hikes. These are designed for hiking, hunting, and backpacking in rugged terrain.
I bought these for my first alpine trip, and they're incredible. I trudged through 2' to 4' snow drifts, snow-shoveling, and sledding. These kept my boots and legs dry and protected for several days while I was showing to a high mountain lake. My boots and I remained cool and dry despite numerous falls and slips into deeper snow / snowmelt, as well as river crossings. br>br>I used the OR website's sizing chart, and these fit like a premium glove on my legs. They're not loose and baggy like cheaper gaitors; instead, they're form-fitting. The fit is perfect. Before buying, I watched a YouTube review by ALindsu, who explained how the design of these hasn't changed much in the 20 years he's had them, with the exception of the materials. Now I understand why. If you're looking for leg gaitors, these are the ones to get for serious backcountry adventures, and they're well worth the extra money.
I am a size 10 shoe wearer. For myself, I purchased a large size. Last week, I wore the Gaiters for the first time. I walked for miles through the woods, up and down hills, and through a lot of brush. The gaiters did a fantastic job of staying on my leg. You want them to be a little snug so that they don't fall down your leg. Gaiters that reached just below my knee. My hiking boots' laces are mostly covered by them. Poison ivy and poison oak are abundant in Missouri, where I live. I walked through a good portion of it. This stuff stays off of me thanks to these Gaiters. Chiggers will not bite you if you use them. I remove them when I'm finished hiking. I place them in a garbage bag and bring them home to wash.
I put the OR gaiters to the test in the water, and they passed with flying colors. I spent a lot of time wading through streams with water up to my ankles, and guess what? MY Lowa Renegade GTX BOOTS DON'T HAVE ANY WATER IN THEM! This would not have been possible if I had worn my old $30 gaiters. Additionally, unlike my previous gaiters, the boot loop on these does not come undone. Hooray! So I felt compelled to write this review to tell you that these are the best you can get because I was hesitant to purchase the OR due to the price - Now I understand why they're so expensive! These are highly recommended! Even though I wear a size 10 women's hiking boot, I ordered a small because my calves are skinny. They're a perfect match for each other. So it appears that shoe size should not be a deciding factor when purchasing these - Based on your calves, make an educated guess.
I haven't tried them on yet, but they appear to do a good job of keeping rain and snow off the bottoms of my hiking pants and the tops of my hiking shoes/boots. With super sticky Velcro, it's a well-made item. Despite having thin 14" calves, I wear a size 12 shoe. 5 pairs of hiking boots/shoes, and L just fits without being too big to fasten. Because of my shoe/boot size, M would be too small; however, from what I can tell, these are the best gaiters you can buy. In hot weather, they'll most likely make your lower legs sweat.
