Questions & Answers
It's a question I've wondered about as well. (10) ski racks ended up being the purchase I made. The majority of ski shops and resorts store all of their rental equipment in similar storage areas. Once the rack has been installed, the majority of your load will be supported by it Tip tips are characterized by a high level of stress. Therefore, I do not see any impact on The rack system caught my attention since I weighed it against hanging tubes against a wall (storage), and I'm personally impressed by its organization elements in the garage (off the deck, arranged evenly and tightly Aside from that, I wish to think that the combination of materials used today are certainly capable of handling this type of load - It's stressful when things are stored. Thanks for reading.
There is a small ski we call the Blat Ski!
You can adjust the bracket spacing from 30 to 50 inches by adjusting the mounting holes. The default bracket spacing is 32" but the mounting holes are actually 2" slots, so you can adjust it from 30 to 50 inches. 34" in length.

The construction is sturdy and the welded seams are not splattered. It is easy to install (a drill, phillips bit, a small bit, Having 2 adult sets of skis and poles on a fork is great for me. Depending on how many forks you need, all you need to do is to turn the shelf down and turn the forks. It is a good idea to use ski bones to prevent the bottoms from spreading apart. I used rubber bands until I found mine.
One suggestion is that the forks should be coated Since the beginning of the week, I have not seen any marks on the skis. I also use this to store my paddles, and I hang my life jackets and fishing poles on it when I store my skis. A must-have for anyone who likes to keep track of their finances.
This is a really good use of a small space, I like the amount of stuff there. It's one thing I dislike about the skis is that the tips are noticeably squeezed together due to the weight of the ski pulling down on the tips of the skis. I have found that larger Velcro wraps that I have for XC skis work well if I install them near the tips, since the hangers engage under the Velcro before the skis touch, which is where they touch anyway, and the tips are not deformed. In order to wrap our downhill skis, I plan to find some large Velcro wraps that will perform the same function.
Rack uprights are attached to the rack using screws that are nested between their sides. Since the mounting screws provided have very close edges, a socket is not possible for the last 3/4 inch of installation due to the closeness of the edge. tightened the bolts bit by bit with a regular wrench (at an angle) using two of the original bolts. To replace the other two, I used a star driver instead of a lag bolt. I had the ability to fit the lag bolt into the rack's groove, and still tighten it with my drill with a normal driver bit. It took my boyfriend (while cursing) about 20 minutes to loosen the first two screws, and is only took me a minute to loosen the last two. As soon as it was installed, I could tell the rack was solid and well constructed. We don't understand their choice of mounting screws, but this should be a fairly easy problem for the manufacturer to fix.
More options for spacing would be useful. It was fairly straightforward to install, but it took 30 minutes to do it Due to 34 inch spacing limitations, it was hard to find a place to accommodate my vehicle in my garage. Furthermore, the washers were just a bit too big for the brackets, so they had to be bent a bit so that the lag screws could be fully tightened down. Although I was a little concerned with the price, I am happy with this purchase, and it has helped clear out.
Even though mounting it on the wall took a long time, when it was done, it was beautiful and worked well. On top of the rack are six pairs of ski boots and all of our skis (as well as snowshoes and a backpack). We would have given it full stars if the rack we got had curved brackets like the picture has provided, but our rack did not have curved brackets that would have been a great help in keeping things on the brackets.
Throughout my garage, there are studs spaced 24" apart. Since the holes in the top rack do not line up, it is unusable. That's kind of a lame thing to do. It is unclear why they did not put a range of holes or slots on them if this issue arose. Nevertheless, it is still a nice view.
I found it to be a great product, but we bought it to store cross-country ski holders are too far apart to hold a pair of skis. This product is more suited for snowboards or downhill skis.
It is strong enough to hold skis, poles, boots, and other stuff. It is highly recommended to keep your gear organized and ready for use when the snow starts falling.
