Questions & Answers
Hello; br>br>The button hangers (Buttons) are not compatible with AT (tech) bindings such as Dynafit bindings as they are manufactured. Many of my customers have requested that I modify Buttons to accommodate their bindings. Near 11 o'clock, two strategically drilled 1/4 inch holes in the rim of the Button were drilled. The spikes in the tech binder toe piece will be held at 00 o'clock. br>br>The answer is no, in terms of telemark bindings. Button Hangers are used by 50% of telemark bindings on the market. br>br>Pete, I'm afraid I don't have a list of those who do and don't fit right now.
No, it is not possible. The cup fits into the front (toe) binding of the ski and holds it in place.
For the time being, Button Ski Rack does not have a snowboard solution. But watch this space.

My wife and I have five pairs of downhill skis that have been leaning in a corner of our garage, making access difficult and causing damage to the skis. So I wanted to get a rack to store them safely in our garage without scratching them while also making it easier to access the skis we wanted. I looked at other racks that hung the skis by the tips and was concerned that it would flatten the ski's rocker, so I purchased these buttons to hang them from the binding. Because the package came with 5 buttons, it was ideal for us. 1 pair of skis for each of us. Positives: br>br>
- Because your skis are lined up on the wall with colorful topsheets facing you, they look really cool. Since I installed this rack, I've received numerous compliments on them.
- The rocker will not flatten out if the skis are hung from the binding.
- Taking your skis off the buttons is a simple process. Unlike other racks, you won't have to take out one or two pairs of skis to get to the ones you want. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this method.
- Because the buttons are made of plastic, I was perplexed as to why this item costs so much. It appears to be worth $15-$20. $20.
- Because the skis are mounted vertically, side-by-side, it isn't the most efficient use of space. br>- on the other hand. br>- on the other hand. br Keep in mind that the package only contains the buttons and hardware; you'll need to cut a 2X4, mount it to the wall, and then attach the buttons to the 2X4. If the buttons were already attached to a board that could be easily mounted to the wall, I believe the price would be justified.
- When racking the skis, be careful not to bump them left or right, as the binding may roll off the button and fall, or you may bump into other skis on the rack, causing them to roll off the button as well. When compared to a rack that hangs the ski vertically by the tips or a horizontal wall rack, the button design has this disadvantage. It would be beneficial if the button had a lip on each side (rather than being perfectly round) to prevent this. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend this ski racking system to others. If it had come pre-assembled and ready to hang, I would have given it five stars. It would have saved me a couple of hours of gathering the necessary tools and materials if it had been mounted.
These are extremely simple to set up. I used an old 1"x4" board that I screwed into the studs in my garage, then screwed these mounts to the board, because the skis are stored in an area where they may be bumped, and because these are round, the skis may be knocked off. To prevent this, I added eye hooks between the buttons and purchased heavy-duty twist ties from Home Depot to secure the skis even more. br>br>I chose this rack over others because I despise the idea of storing skis in a way that puts pressure on the skis or ski tips. This holds the ski in place by the binding, which is the part of the ski that is designed to support that much weight.
These are the best ski hangers I've ever seen! They were incredibly simple to set up. I nailed a 2x4 into the studs of my garage wall and then nailed these "buttons" to the 2x4 in the desired spacing. In my garage, I have 12 pairs of skis that take up very little space. I have a variety of bindings, all of which function flawlessly. It makes no difference whether the skis are wide or thick - Skis, bindings, and plates are all part of the same package. All of them are very easy to hang. THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR ME.
Design that is simple, unique, and effective. I'm surprised there aren't more racks with similar designs. All alpine skis have bindings that can accommodate ski boots with standardized dimensions, so having a ski rack that takes advantage of this is a no-brainer. I'd been hanging my skis from the tips of a rack. That rack bothered me because it put too much emphasis on the ski rocker and camber. This rack provides a solution to the issue. In addition, loading and unloading this rack is a breeze. Furthermore, it is extremely space-efficient - I can now store five pairs of skis, whereas the previous rack could only hold three.
Without a doubt, the most creative and straightforward ski storage solution. It only took me ten minutes to secure the rack to the wall by mounting five buttons to a 2x4. With ease, I was able to keep track of my entire quiver.
These are fantastic; they are simple to install, the skis take up less space when hung on the wall, and ALL skis, narrow or wide, fit into the buttons.
My ski buttons were just installed, and they're fantastic: sturdiness, ease of installation This is a fantastic, low-cost way to store skis. Installation was simple for me because I used it in my new garage. I've stayed in ski condos all over North America, and every single one of them could use this storage solution. The price appears to be a little high, but if it works, I'll put up with it for the sake of functionality.
So far, this is the best ski storage option I've discovered. It allows for more ski storage per square foot of wall space than other options. I also like how it stores the skis vertically by the bindings rather than horizontally, which I believe is better for the skis. Overall, if you're even a tad handy like me, it's a breeze to install. The price appears to be a little high for what amounts to five plastic cups (albeit very sturdy ones). However, because it is a niche product with a small market, I can understand the high price.
