We had this rack all winter for all of our skis both downhill and nordic. The racks are big enough to fit wide skis with downhill bindings, but are not bulky. It's angled so that none of the rack arms stick out too far into the room, and it's durable Taking up space takes up time. There is a clean look to the bamboo. The overall look and feel of everything is good, but some minor changes could be made. The fit is tight There should be an indication of how much ceiling clearance is needed in the instructions. My luck was in as I was able to mount the top skis without remounting. It is a bit challenging to get the skis on and off each time and they rub against each other. Each row could use an extra inch of clearance. At the bottom of the row of poles is an area large enough to hold at least two pairs of poles at the same time. It has two that are hanging on by the skin of their teeth. After everything's been put in place, I am very pleased with how the garage looks and how well it is organized.
