Questions & Answers

This is the first tube I've ever bought for 3 people (super maple). Despite not using it yet, I've already bought the book. Before owning a tube, I had never used one. Is it true that the booster ball makes a difference or not?

Keeping it in place made our single person tubes nosedive and was difficult to move out of the wake if we got the tubes to It eliminates the nose dive and kids feel much more comfortable because of the booster ball, and it rolls effortlessly over wakes as well. I was surprised by the size of the booster!

If the ball is inflated, what size is it?

A visual memory of it lying in a boat floor only gives us an estimation of its size, which is 18" to 24" in diameter and 36" long.

It can be used for a pontoon boat, right? In most potion boats, the rope is shaped like a Y when pulling tubes. ?

That's a great idea, it will really make a difference

This product is awesome! In addition to keeping the rope up out of the water and reducing the water spray in the eyes of towable riders, this ball appears to do exactly what it claims to do
5/5

In addition, it greatly reduces the chances of the towable being submerged, notice that I did not say illuminate. Having a good rider and driver experience is another crucial component to a good submarine excursion. The product is perfect and The maximum above the water line is 1/2'). In the days prior to the ball, I found it difficult to get a donut style, single rider tube outside the wake (even had a hot dog on it that taunted me to knock him off) and my wife could not stop complaining My adult sons (5 over the age of 23 years old) said that tubing behind a pontoon was for grandmas and that they would rather just anchor and swim. So I bought a Big Mable (two rider) tube and I NEVER got it out of the wake. . . . the ball (as we refer to it) came rolling. Despite its once-ubiquitous popularity, rope spray has fallen out of favor There are two reasons why this is an issue As a result, it is greatly reduced, and 2) riders are too busy trying to stay on the tube (remember those 5 sons?). It takes a lot of effort and energy to crawl back onto the tube now! There is no longer a "grandma" boat tag showing on my pontoon no matter what tube I am pulling or in which direction I am driving it). Using "the ball" now allows the tube to EASILY get outside of the wake to the left and right and allows the tube to roll across the water to provide excitement, but keeping the rope taught so the rope snap is no longer severe and you get no whiplash! Where do you want the air to come from? It will all be done in due time). Is the ball coming unzipped for those who are experiencing it? It seem sense to me to turn it 180 degrees so that the water will push the zipper up or down rather than unzip the zipper (or unzip the down zipper) with the water's motion. You just need to be careful about where you attach in the process of unzipping it. I haven't had any difficulties with it at all. Was it really so big that people complained about it? I call it a raft because I deflate it when I bring it in the boat. It takes only five minutes to deflate the raft (be careful with the valve because the inner bladder will move and the valve can be difficult to locate again). When you're ready to use it again, pull out your 12v air pump (the Airhead AHP 12v High Output air pump) and it will be full again in less than 3 minutes. This takes up very little space under our small corner cushion on the pontoon, so we store it under there with our ropes. We simply love our boat! This was the best purchase we've made A pontoon makes it feasible to tube with a pontoon and the tubes are as exciting and fun as they should Assuming there were an option to do so, I would have given this ball 100 stars. Try buying it and using your head to attach it and use it! If you have similar problems as I did, buy it and try This is an excellent read! I can tell you from experience that having 5 boys ages 23 to 39 on a tube ride can cause them all to yell and scream and make them climb back on the tube multiple times in an hour, causing all of them to Having grandkids is much different than having kids, but as I said, as they get older, the experiences I hope you have a safe and enjoyable boating experience!.

The Booster Ball is our only hope for saving the Our 10 year old went tubing 2 weeks ago he was taking it easy, since he is still a child
5/5

While we were coming around on a turn, the rope dug into the wake as it often does. The tube dug in more deeply this time, and the momentum of the turn swung the tube around to the point where a portion of the rope was now dangling from I watched my son go flying into the air as the chop in the water threw him. The rope was under his feet as he came down. Particularly, the expression on his face changed. In the end, the rope reached from his eye to his ear, and ended with the tether. A block of metal hit him on the temple area of the tube. My father was a boat owner since 1989, but I have never experienced anything like watching a loved one clutch his face and bob in the water while screaming in pain. Our little one is fine and didn't need stitches, but we knew it was more than a nuisance when the rope got caught in the wake of a smaller rider, it was a full-on accident I will give you some advice on the We are buying this booster ball in hopes of creating more fun on our boating trips. The captain needs to know he's not putting their safety at risk, and the kids need to know they'll Booster Ball, we're counting on you! (I plan to update this review after we spend some time realizing what we need to do.

My tubes were pulled so much faster and more comfortably as well since I couldn't have been without it
5/5

Let me start by saying that I have read a LOT of reviews that give people's opinions but don't actually give any insight into why they think as they do. Most do not include things such as type of boat, size of engine, what you are pulling, etc. Some do include these things, but most do not. I do not believe that one can only say that something is good or bad and then make an informed decision. As a result, I would like to say. . This is the missing part of the puzzle. This is a 2011 Bass Tracker with a 60HP engine, which is not a competition ski boat per se. I may not even need to attempt to pull anything with this boat according to some. In any case, it is the boat I own and my kids want to play, so we are here. This is the missing part of the puzzle. In our inventory is an O'Brien Super Screamer inflatable tow tube, size 70-80 An inch and a half of With the 1818 Gyro Tumbling Action Towable, you can turn around and tumble backward. This is the missing part of the puzzle. The weight of tube riders has ranged from around 110lbs up to around Pulling the tubes with a standard rope was definitely possible, but you could feel the drag on the boat as you pulled. A regular complaint from the people on the tube was the spray from the rope hitting the water. While cruising, the rope caught in the wake and caused more drag, making it difficult to make turns without a lot of speed loss. I consider adding this booster to our boating collection to be one of the better choices we have ever In my boat I am able to reach plane faster, maintain speed better in turns, there is less sprayed water on the riders from the rope catching in the water, and the boat is not as slowed by the rope catching in the water. There was a major improvement when coming out of a turn and the rider is getting the "slingshot" effect, and swinging out beside the wake, the standard rope would always catch in the wake and When the boat took out the slack, I would not be able to let off the throttle, which would result in a very strong "jerk" on the line (and I am not referring to the person in Because the line is held out above the water, there is no slack, therefore no jerk on the line. If you have a very powerful ski boat with one of those racks that allows you to hook the tow line very high, you might not have this problem. In spite of this, this is a fantastic investment if you are like most of us who fish with a boat you want to pull a tube with.

I like this ball a lot! This is exactly what I needed to maintain the suspension of the floating rope long enough to cross over the Highly recommended! Well built, sturdy, and does what it is supposed to do
