Questions & Answers

This is the first tube I've bought for three people (super maple). It has not yet been used by me. Tubes were a foreign concept to me. Would it really make a difference if the booster ball was used?

In the absence of it, our single person tube would nosedive, making it difficult to maneuver outside the wake if we got the tube to plan. Booster balls eliminate nose diving and make the kids feel much more comfortable, not to mention they easily glide over the wake. A big booster! I hadn't expected it to be so big.

When the ball is inflated, how big will it be?

I estimate that it is approximately 18" to 24" in diameter and 36" long purely based on what I saw on the boat floor when I lay out on top of it

It is capable of being used for pontoon boats? Due to the fact that most of the boats pull tubes by using a rope arranged in ?

This will be a great help for sure

Selected User Reviews For SPORTSSTUFF Towable Booster Tube Yellow, Red, Black, Dimensions inflated (38in x 28in) deflated (45in x 36in)

This is an awesome product! The ball is exactly what it claims to be, it keeps the rope high above water on boats with low tow points, and it reduces the water spray on the towable rider
5/5

Furthermore, it drastically reduces the possibility of submerging the towable. Note that I did not say it The experience of the driver and the rider is integral to submarineing as well. The product is perfect and of high quality. The maximum height above the water line is 1/2'. It was difficult for me to get a donut style, single rider tube outside the wake before the ball (I had a hotdog son that would stand on it and taunt me to knock him off), and my wife complained about rope spray in her eyes before the ball. A couple years ago, I bought a Big Mable tube and never got it out of the wake, my five adult sons (5 of them over 23 years old) did nothing but complain that tubing behind a pontoon was for grandmas and that they would rather anchor and swim instead.

Then, "the ball" (as we call it) arrived! It has become more and more difficult to use rope spray There are two reasons for this issue As a result, it has been greatly reduced. Secondly, most riders are too busy trying to stay on the tube (remember those 5 sons?). lol Now they have to spend quite a bit of time and energy climbing back up It doesn't matter which tube I pull or which way the couch or chariot points, my pontoon boat is no longer referred to as a "grandma" boat. In this way, the tube is able to easily exit the wake to the left or right, and it kind of rolls across the water allowing the tube to slide side to side as it slides, but still maintaining the rope taught so the severe rope snap is gone and no more whiplash! Where would you like to breathe? It will all be done in due time). For those of you who are experiencing unzipping, do you have any suggestions on what might be causing this? You would think it would be logical to turn it 180 degrees so that the water is pushing the zipper up or so that it is being zipped up instead of being unzipped (or zipped down) by the water movement. You need to make sure to attach it correctly. I've had no issues with it unzipping, just be conscious of the direction in which Was there really a problem with the size?

Have people complained about the size before? You can deflate it in under 2 minutes when you bring it aboard the boat (just be careful not to lose the valve an instance when the inner bladder moves and the valve is hard to find you hold onto the valve until the inner bladder is fully deflated and folded). When you want to fill it again, simply pull out your 12v air pump (Airhead AHP 12v High Output air pump) and within 3 minutes you will be breathing clean air This does not take up much space, it is kept under our small corner cushion on the pontoon with our ropes. Since we bought the pontoon, this has been the best purchase we have made! Tubing with a pontoon becomes feasible and enables the tube to be as thrilling and fun as it was designed to be. If there had been an option, I would have given this ball 100 stars! You may have similar problems as I did, so just do as I did and attach it to your head and use This is a highly recommended book! I can tell you from experience that with 5 boys age 23 to 39, you can cause them all to scream and yell during the ride, have them climb back on the tube many times in an hour, and have them complain about It is not so bad with the grandkids, but remember, they will age, so it will change as they grow older. Having fun and staying safe on the water is very important!.

Booster Ball is our only hope for a happy A couple weeks ago, we went tubing with our 10 year old, taking it very easy because he's still When we turned on a turn, the rope dug into the wake as it usually does
5/5

Although this time the tube dug in enough to allow the momentum of the turn to swing the tube backwards toward the boat with a portion of the rope still attached behind the tube. As my son flew into the air due to a chop in the water, he was thrown into the air by the chop in the water. He landed on the rope when he came down. He changed the appearance of his face in particular. His eye and ear were crossed by the rope, which ended with a tie behind his back. He was smacked in the temple area by the block on the tube. My family has owned boats since 1989, but I've never had the experience of a loved one screaming in pain and bobbing in the water while clutching his face. Our young rider is fine and did not need stitches, but we knew that the issue of the rope becoming caught in the wake of a smaller rider is more than a mere nuisance this is an issue we need to address immediately. On the topic of safety. We plan on purchasing this booster ball while there is still a month left of summer in Michigan, including potential vacation time to Caseville's Cheeseburger festival. The captain needs to know that his kids will be safe, and the kids need to know that it will restore fun to our boating time. Booster Ball, we're counting on you! In a week or two, after we've logged some time on it, I'll post an update.

This way pulling tubes is much easier and faster, as well as more comfortable for the rider
5/5

Okay, first of all, I have read a good deal of reviews that give a person's opinion but don't really provide any facts to support it. Some do include it, but most do not. Examples include what sort of boat you have, what size engine you have, what you're towing, etc. I don't think it's enough to just say something is good or bad in order to make a decision. With that being said, let's move on. This is a placeholder page for A 2011 Bass Tracker with a 60HP engine isn't exactly a competition ski boat it is more of a recreational Many would say this boat doesn't even have the ability to pull anything. since my boat is the only one I have and our kids want to play, This is a placeholder page for The inflatable tow tube we have is an O'Brien Super Screamer, 70-inch SPORTSSTUFF 53" and a half" With 1818 Gyro Tumbling Action Towable, you absolutely will not be disappointed. This is a placeholder page for There have been tube riders who weigh anything from 110 pounds to 260 pounds. Getting the tubes onto the boat with a standard rope was possible, but you could feel the drag. A constant complaint from the people on the tube was the spray that came from the rope hitting the water. The rope would entrap in the wake and create more drag as it was difficult to make turns without dropping a lot of speed. It was one of the best boating decisions we have ever made to add this booster to our collection. The boat reaches plane faster, maintains speed better on turns, there is much less water sprayed on the riders as a result of the rope catching in the water, and there is a LOT less drag on the boat as well. The rope would always catch in a wake when coming out of a turn so that the rider was getting that "slingshot" effect and swinging out beside the wake. This created slack as the rider came around the turn. When the boat got rid of the slack, if I didn't let off the throttle, it would result in a very strong "jerk" on the line (and I'm not talking about the tube person). It rolls across the surface of the wake and is therefore much more efficient. Since the tow line is held high on the ski boat, this may not be an issue if you have a highly powerful ski boat that can swing the tow line really high. In any case, if you're one of us and have a fishing boat you like to use to pull a tube, this thing is a great purchase.

There's no need to worry about it! This is exactly what I needed to keep the floating rope suspended enough to tube
5/5

its construction, as it's sturdy, sturdy, and does what it's supposed to!.
