The Super Mable I purchased in May 2018 still has the original packaging. It was deflated and stored for the winter after the summer. The straps have disintegrated and rotted in just a few months after we brought it out to inflate it for the summer. It was just a year ago that I paid $300 for that tube! Make sure it doesn't go under the sea! It happens if a lot of people lean forward as they take off and it goes under water. The seams will be put under a lot of stress! Two adults are fine, three is too big, unless they are under 100 pounds. You can push the limits as long as you are skilled at pulling. Do not jerk the rope suddeny when it is slack at the bottom or you will suffer whiplash or tear the membrane. Because these bigger rafts have a tremendous amount of weight, it is not recommended to use a rope jerk to handle them. It might be a bad idea to put two big guys on the edges and a little guy in the middle. The middle guy could get squahed or elbowed in the head and A stable board does tend to be formed with two big people on either end. One further caution is "pay attention" when pulling folks out of the water - make sure they are not leaning forward so that the life buoy is submerged. You will rip your seams if you do that because it will increase the pull exponentially. As one more safeguard, do not expose it to the sun if you want it to last a long time. If left on the dock for a long time, the handles will rot off. Take it off to the dock after a couple of days, but not for the summer. Ski ropes are also hard to handle when exposed to the sun for a long time!
