Throughout the years, I have owned several Airhead products, and they have all been excellent. It was purchased in May and since then the neoprene near the handles has ripped off and the paneling below the handles has separated from each other. As a result of safety concerns, I am not planning on using it any longer. Although I can't tell from the reviews whether I got a lemon or not, it seems likely, judging from some of the other reviews. There are no guarantees when it comes to results. Referring to my experience, I used to drive the water ski team at my college for 30 years, so I know not the abuse, but the driver. Basically, the tube quality determines how well the tube works. "Parts", but no information on how to get in touch is on the warranty.
Because this tube is a bit more active than our last one, we are able to get it out of the wake much easier. It's big enough to fit three kids on it though everyone would enjoy it more if it was kept to only two. A valve design that I dislike is the one we have. However, our last tube had a removable boston valve which made it a little easier for us In the end we used our last tube for eight seasons, though it was faded and no longer worked. We deflate and dry the tube inside after usage, so even if we only get a few, I hope to get just as many with this one as well.
We had a lot of fun this summer with this airhead tube! With a pontoon boat, we pull it. In this photo, we have one of our daughters and two of our grandchildren. There would be no better way to hear the happy squeals than to hear them. This is a nice boot with good handles that are easy to put on and take off. This product also served as a raft and water trampoline for the kids on the river and the lake. It was put to good use this summer and will be great for years to come!.
Although I am sure I don't remember every detail perfectly, I don't recall ever having to add air even though I'm sure I must've done it once or twice. This new one has only held air for a few minutes. A tubing trip or a simple float in the water will take 2 hours. After I discovered that the plug had a hole in it, I patched it. At first I thought the plug was loose, but I discovered a hole as soon as I took it out of the box. In the patch, the plug keeps popping out, but the patch is holding. Within the last three months, I've had to refill the tube 15 times. It's too late for me to return it so I guess I have no choice but to keep.
It was tight with 2 adults and 1 kid, but it This can also be used with a tow ball. I purchased this tube even though it's meant to be for 3 people, but I knew 2 people would be comfortable in it. One person will not feel cramped in this spacious apartment. Under no circumstances does he try diving under water. Wedges have a super easy on/off feature and make climbing back onto it very easy. Considering how big it is, it isn't feasible to smcruise around in it with no one on board. When it is going that fast, it doesn't require much speed to go airborne.
The double hole closer AND the velcro flap on the front of the case are really convenient. I am very happy with this product!.
The front will sink if not. A few trips (meaning days on the water) later, we could figure out why the front kept spilling and we couldn't get the kids on the As soon as it hit the cold water, the air would shrink and it would not be as full as it was (couldn't tell that I guess). For it to stay above water, it really needs to be filled to its maximum capacity.
We were able to accomplish our goal. It took a lot of attempts and a great deal of time spent not working, but the good times were great when it worked.
The best choice for children ages 2 and 3. There is a lot of space here. Two teenage boys would be unable to comfortably fit inside. thing I can say for its positive aspects is that it goes up very fast on takeoff and doesn't sink in the front. Despite its high ride, it rides low in the back. In the photo, a medium sized life vest is on display.
