Questions & Answers

When it comes to packaging, how big is it?

This is not a big deal. You might not get it that small again depending on how they fold it, but it will certainly be around that size at some point. Although it has been a while since I got it, I believe it was less than 2'x1'x1' according to my memory. The kids love it, and it is a great item! It is durable and has not become brittle from mold or mildew.

When the balloon is inflated, what size does it have?

The diameter of the circle is approximately 5 feet

When I used the tube for the first time, I noticed that there was no air. Can anyone suggest ?

Upon pulling the valves out, shut them off. Please re-read Make sure the airbag is fully inflated and brush it with soapy water. The tire will continue to lose air if there is an area of puncture.

In what length of time is the warranty valid?

The warranty lasts for 90 days, according to my memory.

It is a low quality product with very poor customer support
3/5

Over the years, we have purchased probably a dozen of these tubes. Those in the water have been loved by kids. In the past, the company made very good products and backed them up. We have only encountered a defective product issue once in the past several years when they responded quickly and replaced the item. However, both the quality and customer service have deteriorated, as a result of which they have lost many of their most faithful customers.

Over the last few years, a screw-in Boston valve has been installed in place of the Boston valve Embroidered on cap with a two-tone pattern The Boston valve is integrated into the connecting piece. This might seem like a good idea for separating the Boston valve, but it interferes with the ability to split the valve to inflate. AIRHEAD WILL NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR A PRODUCT DEFECT THAT HAS RESULTED FROM THIS POLICY. When we first received the tube, it had a significant leak around the valve stem, where the valve stem seam had separated along nearly half of the neck because of poor design or workmanship. The $180 product was unable to be used. It is evident that there is a design or manufacturing defect as the neck splits and separates uniformly around the neck any engineer would know this shouldn't happen particularly after only a few uses I did not find it to have a tearing pattern normally associated with misuse of the product. I am sure it has not been In the past, this type of tube filling has never caused a problem since we have done it hundreds of times without a problem. As a result, Airhead has no engineers and just resells Chinese products, since Airhead denies any responsibility and blames the customer when confronted with the facts and asked to replace a new, defective tube after weeks of delay in responding As you can see in the photos for the damage in question from the area where you pointed out the damage isn't caused by a manufacturer defect. This type of damage is usually caused when the valve area is pulled with too much force. " In the case of a manufacturing defect, you may have noticed it when you inflated the tube for the first time. "Whether a design defect (which I tend to believe) or bad manufacturing in the one we ordered, we are left with a piece of junk and a commitment to (1) help others avoid Airhead's poor quality products and terrible customer support, and (2) I would recommend avoiding AIRHEAD THE COMPANY and its products at all costs!.

There must be something wrong with our lemons
3/5

I have written many reviews for Amazon. I believe I have only written negative reviews 9% of the time. The cover on this tube ripped right down the middle after an hour of use, so we bought it from Amazon. This covered car seat split wide open while it was riding at a slow speed with a 150-pound rider. We have contacted the manufacturer for a warranty claim and have not yet heard from them. It's not the first Airhead product we have used, since we had another one that worked for years without any problems. This one was a lemon though. In retrospect, I would have written a better review if they replied to my warranty claim. I just ordered another one, pretty much as a result of the summer in Michigan only lasting so long. The outcome of that one remains to be seen. Here is the 2017 It seems that Airhead sent me a new one, so I'm pleased with that.

I didn't last five days of tubing! Purchasing this a week before buying our boat was a great decision
3/5

The cart was used to pull kids weighing less than 100 pounds who were under the age of 13 years old. He can no longer hold air in it. It is very disappointing that I am unable to return this item to Amazon. I would like to replace it, but they no longer allow returns. It wasn't long enough to last 5 days of tubing, so it was crappy. We tried it again, but wasn't able to hold air this time. Despite being able to go out, we kept returning to the marina due to deflation. There's no way I'll ever buy from him again and I don't recommend anyone else do so either. I am updating Emailing the seller was my first step. I didn't even get a response from them! I urge you not to purchase!.

Are the new generations of tubes going to live up to my expectations? Boating has been a lifelong passion of mine since the days of the giant yellow tubes, which had a harness rather than a cover, and the original O'Brien
3/5

With over 30 years experience, I've been struggling to keep this generation of Airheads alive. I pull two of the blue 1-pounders from the game. Tubes can be used by 2 riders at once, putting about 80-100 lbs of pressure on each On average, we spend 100 hours on the tubes each season. As I write this, I am patching two holes in one of the tubes I have been using since A hole is located on each side of the tube, just under the fins that hold the rider neatly to They are not stored in the sun, we don't allow anyone to touch them during times when they are out of the water, and they are not deflated and re-inflated. The pressure increases as the use of the device increases. As well, we don't allow them to be around sand. Perhaps this generation of tubes isn't strong enough to handle all that use? They're used every weekend, but do they weigh too much? It has been years since I had an O'Brien, but I'm having trouble with this one. Neoprene parts are placed in the right places on the tube so that it is comfortable for you to ride. While taking off or towing at low speeds, the rider needs to know how to pull up on the tube and sit back on their knees in order to keep it from submerging. The classic O'Brien Le Tube moves around more easily when compared to the classic O'Brien Le Tube if you can get outside of the wake and whip around. Though we know that the two tubes are different, this can serve as a helpful reference for those of us who pulled the classic O'briens back in the day. It is also not difficult to carry and is easy to store since the tubes are low profile. The canvas holds up very well Tubes don't tear or rip when they fail because of holes, so we don't have any torn handles or rips. I always refer to the inflatable part. While they're more difficult for adults to stay on than O'Brien Le Tubes when ripping around a turn at a high speed, these are still great for kids. Additionally, they seem to drag a lot more and they seem to catch more water as you try to maneuver A few of them do get good air when jumping the wake or hitting a set of nice Having the handles makes it so easy to get back on the tube since the back of the tube is low-profile. O'briens of the old school sit excruciatingly high, making it difficult for some riders to climb back on the saddle. It is likely that I will order a few HO tubes to see how those hold up for the rest of the The HO EX03 chariot style that I am running is extremely successful. Many, many seasons of television seemed to be able to be found on a single It's just a matter of resetting expectations, I guess. I am updating In addition to patching the first tube, I have put about 20 more hours into the tube that did not have holes at the time of the first review. The second tube has the same location as the first These tubes are quite popular among the kids, yet they are not very sturdy and do not last with heavy usage. The most recent update was made. Three others were purchased the seam on a third one split after only 15 hours. An attached picture illustrates my point. In all my years of observation, I have never noticed anything quite like this. These are really a missed opportunity for the company. There is nothing like an O'Brien Le Tube in my opinion, and my 16 year old classic O'Brien as well as my new O'Briens still sound great.
