Questions & Answers
We're sorry to hear the Knob came loose for you. Is it a hard top or a soft top board? Hard top boards don't stick to foamies well enough; you'll need the soft top mounting brackets for that. When it comes to hard top boards, the most important thing to make sure of is that the board surface is spotless. There should be no wax or sanding, and a clean surface should be ensured with the alcohol wipe provided. If you've done that, you might have a problem with the Surf Knob's adhesion. We'd be delighted to swap it out for you. You can either do it on Amazon or send us an email at [email protected]. knobs. com, or visit our website Surf-Surf-Surf-Surf-Surf- knobs. com. When these steps are followed, we haven't had a lot of problems with the knobs coming off. Thank you for your time and consideration, and please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you.
Yes. They will come off if you put them on your board before all of the wax has been removed. Mine was strewn about Waikiki Beach. Fortunately, I was able to reapply them after removing the wax, and they remained in place. These were great for beginners, but I eventually outgrew them.
These have already been pre-made. glued and ready for peeling stick. It would be a project to move them; you'd have to carefully lift them off with one of the "orange" release agents, dry them, and re-attach them with 3M contact cement. affix them to their new location with a glue stick.
So sorry! To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. During the pop-up, they may assist in creating space for your lower body to get into your surfing stance. up, but getting your arms to rest on the Knobs may be difficult.

These are part of my husband's Easter Basket (yes, I love making him one). I gave them four stars because they look exactly like the description and are designed for the purpose for which they are intended. He's had shoulder problems as a result of his construction work, and we're just plain old and getting older by the day. He enjoys surfing and hopes that these will enable him to do so even more.
It was simple to put together and held up well.
My hip replacement surgery left me with a pop-in-the-mouth situation. Ups has taken a significant hit. I find that the relatively small area of the surf knobs limits where my hands must be. I wish they were surf pads instead of knobs because I believe a larger surface area provided by a pad for my palm to press against, rather than a knob for my fingers to grip, would be more beneficial to me. It is, however, preferable to nothing.
This is fantastic. It's a lot easier to pop up with this method. Maintains the same position of the hands each time, allowing your knee to pass beneath your chest.
It says to put this on 24 hours before surfing in the instructions. I didn't get around to reading them until I was on my way to the beach. As a result, this is just a heads-up. I held off on using them until the next session. For this aging man with a bad back, they appear to work as described:.
However, it is simple to remove; I believe it requires superglue. I'm going to order some more.
