After a day in the sun and the water, ours swelled to the top. br>br>The bottom held up well, and my son preferred it to his previous board, which he gave to his brother. br>br>Look, it's still usable, and it's better than the ones you can buy at the local beach store (not dedicated to boarding activities, ie beach gift shop), but it's a bummer that it bubbled up in multiple places before merging into one big bubble by the end of the trip and five days at the beach. br>br>It's possible that this won't last as long as one might hope after seeing the bubble. Any scrape or tear to that bubble will only prolong its demise. We have a three-year-old BRS board that has yet to bubble. br>br>However, with an updatebr>br>I must say that the seller was very eager to resolve the issue, so I updated the review to reflect how it was handled after that.

The board has been replaced. UPDATE: Despite the fact that the board may have had issues, the seller responded quickly to my concerns and sent me a new board to replace the old one. They are a trustworthy company from which I would gladly purchase goods in the future. br>br>I bought this as an Easter present for my son. After only three uses, the sides started peeling. After six uses, you can see the results. It is not something I would suggest. Due to the fact that the return window has passed, I am unable to return.

The board is light in weight and made of high-quality foam. This board should be sufficient for paddling around or riding gentle waves at the beach. It has a PVC shell on the bottom for protection from the beach, which not all boards have, and it's still like new with no dents or damage after many uses in the pool and on the lake. The coiled leash with elastic band is one of my favorites; it keeps us from slipping away when we're out on the lake. There are no issues.

It was only used for a four-day beach trip, but it was adequate for a five-year-old. I don't think it'd work for an adult (not enough flotation), but it wasn't advertised as such. br>br>I'd buy it again.

I was very impressed with the customer service; after discovering the defect a few months after leaving a review, they reached out and sent us a new board; I'm looking forward to her trying it out next summer. br>br>This product was exactly what we were looking for. My 11-year-old daughter had outgrown the $5 Boogie Board and was in need of a more durable alternative. It was the perfect fit for her, and she played with it for hours every day during our vacation. br>The only thing I don't like about it is that it started to bubble up when it was left out in the sun.

Your photos deceive the viewer. Only one should be shown in the photos. There appear to be two boards in the order based on how it looks and reads. You can imagine how disappointed I was when the box arrived with only one item inside!! My grandchildren were heartbroken because only one of them would be able to go to the beach with a board!.
