Is this a board that a six-year-old can use?

These are adult-sized boards, but a 6-year-old will have a blast with them. For the 6 year old, you might want to start with a smaller child's board, and these for anyone else who will be in the water with them. The boards are well-made and won't snap in half like cheaper models, so they should last a long time. We used them recently on South Padre Island, Texas, and they performed admirably.

What is the maximum weight that each board should be?

Made for a low price - Make sure you don't throw your money away

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS CHEAPLY MADE PRODUCT. I can live with the boards being small and light, but it's unacceptable that they fell apart after only two uses. Our wavestorm surfboard has held up well over the last year, but these bodyboards are a joke. If you don't want to throw these away after a few trips to the beach, look for something else. I'm completely dissatisfied with this purchase, and it may be the worst Amazon product I've ever bought.

I just received these two boards and can't believe how cheap they are for two of them

The item is available at a great price. They appear to be very solid and reliable - I think they'll be a hit with my grandsons, and I think they'll last a long time! I went back to get two more, but they were sold out! I wish I could have gotten two more!.

We took them to the beach with us for a week as a family. They were great for boogie boarding and lasted a long time. It's large enough for adults but small enough for children.

These aren't the best, but for the amount of time they'll be used each summer, they'll suffice, and the kids will enjoy them. We're going to use them again.
