Buying this was less expensive than shipping the Morey to my vacation spot. I had high hopes for it- It was a pleasant surprise for me. It's large and wide enough to easily plane in small waves. Beginners will love it. However, it is stiff enough and has good enough edges to carve beautifully. Intermediate/advanced boarders will enjoy this. It's all right with the leash-- There's no need to get a better leash to replace it. Overall, it's a good deal.
We couldn't decide what to get for a board and didn't want to overspend or underspend! This board was ideal for the entire family, with ages ranging from 3 to 43, as well as a wide range of heights and weights! It's light but strong, and it's a blast to ride in the waves on Cape Cod. I would strongly suggest it.
I've bought a lot of boards, and this is one of my favorites. br>Prosbr>Great sizebr>Light weightbr>Flexible enough for maneuveringbr>Great on mild waves (so far)br>Consbr>I currently have no cons, but I'll update if I find any.
known boards through Amazon only to discover that the core was too soft and the board suffered deep indentations on the top surface within the first day of use, or that the core was too hard and the board would fall apart almost immediately. This one performed admirably and compares favorably to other Body Glove boards I've used in the past.
Although it appears to be well-made, the top of the board is extremely slippery once we get in the water. If we tried to ride it, it would slip out from under us. It is impossible to stay on it for more than 5 seconds without it completely slipping in one direction or the other.
First and foremost, the customer service is outstanding! They are quick to respond and very accommodating. br>I bought this board for my 17-year-old son's birthday, and he absolutely loved it! I took it to Santa Cruz and had a great time; the board is well-made and I'm confident it will last a long time.
When other boards with poor reviews were around the same price, this was the smart choice, and we've been very happy with it so far!.
I haven't used it yet, but she isn't my first. Everything I've ordered from South Bay Board Company has always been on point and exactly as described, with prompt delivery.
