After only a few days of beach use, one of the boards began to split apart where the board is presumably glued together on the side; I contacted the seller, and the board was returned and a refund was issued. Overall, I believe this board should be priced at around $50, rather than $109.
We attempted to register for the warranty on the board using the instructions on the card; however, the website directed us to a page that appeared to be the warranty page but had a banner that could not be removed. I went to the South Bay Board Company's website and tried chatting with the Answer Bot; when it couldn't understand my request for assistance with registering my board, I asked for a human, and it said, "No problem, let me connect you with a customer support agent. " " I haven't heard from the agent yet. br>br>Until I registered for the warranty, I didn't want to use the board. Once everything has been resolved, I will revise the review.
I blew out my knee and am unable to surf or skateboard, so I purchased a bodyboard to keep me in the water and strengthen my knee. I wanted a strong board with good construction and materials but didn't want to pay the price of a new surfboard or even a good used one, so after doing some research, this model really fit the bill and only cost around one! So far, it's been nice and rigid, with just enough flex to deal with some heavy shore break. So far, it's been a blast!.
Both of these arrived in great shape. The colors are exactly as they appear in the picture. We've taken them on a couple of beach trips with rough surf and they're still in great shape. So far, it's been of excellent quality.
I'd say 100 pounds is a possibility. According to the label, the weight limit is 275 pounds. NOPE. I'm 270 pounds and haven't worked in over a year, so it's the same result as grabbing one of the kids' ones. As a result, I gave it to my niece and nephew. It's not even close to the $30 from the store down the street. It's big and heavy, and it's well-made. "They sunk," he said, referring to his high hopes.
Excelente.
I'd buy it once more. It's nice, and it's okay nice.
