I'm not sure of the exact weight limit, but it's a sturdy board; I'm around 175 pounds, so most kids should be fine.

My son will love it! My 7-year-old son is afraid of water and can't swim yet, but he enjoys playing in the shallow waves at the beach

I figured he'd enjoy a body board but be intimidated by it if he didn't have something solid to hold on to. These handles were ideal, and the board looks and feels sturdy. This is a great river board, and I don't get my fingers hurt on the rocks because of the front handles

The board has taken a few knocks from the water's rocks. I have the impression that I am wearing a shield at times. There's no need to look any further if you want to go river boarding.

Peachtree Press Inc. is a publishing company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Lime green bodyboard with grips 37" Has two top handles for kids to hold onto, an ankle leash was included but there were no instructions on how or where to attach it, and the ankle leash was unnecessary. My three grandchildren, ages ten, eight, and six, had a blast at the beach with this body board, which floated with all three of them attached!.
