Questions & Answers

Do any people tow their kayak behind this cart when they ride their bikes?

In the wheels of the cart, there are no bearings or bushings. They are made from plastic/polycarbonate. The body would use up its energy if you run at any speed other than walking. In addition, the unit itself does not feature any screws or bolts, just an individual polyframe built to hold everything

Does the boat raise above ground much as a result of the cart?

The angle at which you tow will determine how much you tow

For daily pulling around 200 pounds, is this more suitable or should I use something more conventional What is the wear and tear of 300 meters on hard surfaces like asphalt?

The purpose of these tires is more for use on trails, sand, etc. Concrete or asphalt is not an acceptable material. Probably they will wear out and fail earlier if this is the case. Probably not, but they may offer tires for hard surfaces as an option. While this is a fine cart, I doubt it would last very long with you using it the way you do.

Can this be used with the Eddyline Caribbean series, which has a deeper V ?

It is true, C There should be enough space to pull the tug. It is possible to adjust those hull pads to conform to whatever shape your kayak takes.

There is nothing better than this Kayak Cart! For transportation of your , I strongly recommend purchasing a case like this
5/5

Then, add this There is nothing better than this Kayak Cart! If you want to transport your kayak or canoe, you should consider getting one. It is easy to put together. We had the whole thing assembled in less than a minute. Due to its location near saltwater, it doesn't seem to have any parts that could rust, which is very important to me. Putting the kayak on the cart and strapping it down is easy, and then rolling it to where you will launch or stow the kayak is even easier. For easy storage in the kayak, it can be broken down in seconds. Design of the highest quality. The strap was the only thing I had a problem with, and I took longer to figure out than I thought it would. But, once it's on you're In my opinion, the company should just think about attaching it to everything already. The sand was able to go through, but soft sand was a little harder. The wheels that come with this product might be fine for you, but you might want to consider upgrading the tires, which I've provided a link to below. I used the wheels that came with it on hard sand, gravel, and pavement and found them to be just fine. There are only wheels on Sandtrakz This is a Sandtrakz wheeled bike.

I am blown away by your cart
5/5

Engineers rarely experience sensations of this kind, yet I was blown away when I came across this cart. Designing, assembling, and manufacturing the Ctugs is not as easy as it may seem since the details keep them simple, sturdy, and easy to assemble and disassemble. A really well thought out design and the description fails to mention that the wheels are not solid hard plastic and are made out of two different materials. Wheels and hull pads are actually molded from secondary rubber (the tread on one side and the green pad on the other side) with a soft feel. I thought I might have to put padding on it to protect my fiberglass kayak but, nope, no need. For robustness, you can turn off). Distance paddling is something I do, and I wish it was a little lighter to pack and take with me on long performances runs, but I can deal I have edited As for weight, over the course of weighing them, I've come to believe it seems and feels heavier than it actually I was expecting something heavier than this at around 8lbs, but it's not as light as I thought it would be. I give it 5 stars all the time.

There's no other way to describe this cart
5/5

What an awesome piece of equipment. I still love to paddle, but at 76 dragging an 80 pound Tarpon 120 around has limited my fishing trips for the last few There have been a lot of positive reviews of I bought a tug cart so I could see how it worked. Earlier today, I went to a kettle pond on Long Island, NY that is supposed to have great bass fishing, but the only way to access this pond is by About 300 yards of relatively rough woods road and some stairs make up the trail that leads to the park. In both cases, the C will be used. I found that tug handled everything gracefully. He pulled well and never let go. The items were stored in the back of the Yak with I strongly recommend this purchase, it is the best I've ever bought. Take advantage of it.

I almost gave it a 5 star rating
4/5

This item would have been 5 stars, but I gave it 4 stars because of the cost. My own cart would be very complicated, so I did a lot of research and watched many YouTube videos about how to make it, but I just love how simple it is to take apart. I am really impressed with the quality of this build. The price for this item makes it obvious you will refuse it when you see it. Assuming that items are made in China for $15, they could be made for that price. It really was hard for me to push the buy button, but I'm so happy that When I used this cart for the first time, all the regrets I had about spending so much money for this cart disappeared. With this cart, I haven't had problems carrying my kayak around at all.

The Avery 2 has been stopped This was used on a 10-mile round trip hike up a recently closed gravel road to reach an epic fishing spot
5/5

I ran the axles under some water during the trip to cool them and to rinse off dust. Loaded the top with two 65 lb kayaks as well as miscellaneous gear that weighed about 50 lbs. I took advantage of this cart, and it saved me! The Avery 2 has been stopped This thing is great. I drove 3 miles and threw some water on the axles to cool them off and get rid of dust. It is not clear what folks have a problem with the straps the instructions are plain and simple.

A thorough test has been conducted
4/5

One of the best features of the C-cart is that it is less expensive than other carts There is a twist to the tug in that the green pads can be swiveled to accommodate a variety of canoe and kayak bottoms, as well as being In the past, I have towed my kayak a few times over grassy, bumpy terrain, with the longest distance being approximately 1 1/2 miles. The attached files contain four photos. FIGURES 1 through 4 are numbered from left to right, and FIGS 2 through 4 are from left to right. As a result of a wheel falling off on one of the trips, I now apply a thin strip of tape over the pin that secures the wheel to axle (Fig. It is also important to secure the straps to something otherwise the cart will slide backwards (fig. 2) so that the straps hang along the front of the kayak seat. A canoe seat or thwart can be secured using the straps pictured in Fig 3 attach the strap to the green pad tighten the straps as necessary A ladder buckle is what is referred to as a buckle. Diagrams of ladder buckles can be found In Figure 4, I show how I transport the axle and the To store the green axle pads in the cargo area, I remove the green wheels and remove the axle pads from the wheels. Stowing the wheels in a paper bag in the bow of my kayak, I stow the bag in the bow. May 7, 2015.

There are some shapes of kayaks for which it won't work, but there are others for which it might
3/5

C- I've heard great things about it Having given it a try on my Kayak, I have to say, it isn't for every kayak. It is a fact that this type of kayak will cause you problems if it is shaped a certain way. It was also hard to find good straps, so I started using ratchet clamp straps and now the C-style collar looks really bad. It is possible to use the tug. tried to pull it in sand with an ordinary strap, but it kept slipping Since I have been using a different strap, the C-pillar seems to be deflecting The rating of a 1 star was saved for the tug. it's not true for all shapes of kayaks, you can still make it work, although I wouldn't say this is the typical case.
