Questions & Answers
Thank you for inquiring about the clamp holes. There are 12 of them. The braxcket will be mounted at approximately the 13-inch mark. 15". End caps appear to be present on the Sportspal. The end cap must be 10" or less for this job. If they are longer than 10", an elongated bottom clamp, which we can ship in place of the standard clamps, is required. When ordering, send us a message at rdshroyerdesigns/ask a question/ and specify that you're looking for a Sportspal canoe.
Thank you very much for your inquiry. The Old Town Saranac is compatible with the ash motor bracket with solid bottom clamp.
Yes, I believe it will work perfectly. The length of the canoe, in my opinion, is unimportant. My boat is a Nova Craft Expedition, which measures 17 feet in length. This was purchased to go with my Min Kota Traxxis 45.
Thank you very much for your inquiry. As a bow mount, this should fit a Gheenoe. The bottom clamp will not clamp properly unless your model has inward facing gunwales that are 1/2" wide or wider. The mount can handle a 55-pound thrust; with most canoes, the weight of the motor (a Minn Kota Endura 55 weighs about 30 pounds), but the Gheenoe's wide beam and flat bottom make it one of the most stable designs available.

So far, it has worked flawlessly with an electric motor on our Wenonah Spirit II (for driving around the lake). Thank you for your quick delivery and excellent product!.
It would be beneficial to have more data on detentions. Thankfully, we were able to fabricate a component that allows it to function properly.
It works fine; however, the first time I used it, I had an issue. When I tried to loosen it so I could remove it from the canoe, the "bolts" in the smaller piece came out and couldn't be easily replaced. Now I simply use the pieces with the flat side of the bolt to secure the screw. It works out, but for the price, I'd like it to be a little more durable.
I converted my Canute into a fishing boat with a motor!.
It's a perfect fit and function.
A trolling motor was used to motorize a canoe using the AquaOutdoors bracket. The bracket is simple to assemble, sturdy, and simple to connect to the motor.
The trolling motor attaches securely to my canoe and installs quickly. It was exactly what I was looking for. Years ago, I should've purchased one. It's so much simpler!.
There was a lot more give than I had anticipated. The wood flexes a lot, so it doesn't appear to be very secure. It hasn't yet broken, though.
