After this past season of being outside, the old flat plastic handles on my Coleman camp kitchen finally failed, which was a good thing because I now have these rubberized handles to replace them. These handles are far more comfortable to hold and evenly distribute weight. br>br>I had to source my own hardware, but otherwise it was a simple upgrade.
My canoe is over ten years old and has spent a lot of time upside down on our land. The handles had rotted away and were no longer functional. I had high hopes for these, and they did not disappoint. They were actually the same size, so they didn't need much tinkering to get them to work. I'm very happy. I have no qualms.
This product, like everything else made by YakGear, is of high quality for the price.
These handles are fantastic, and I wholeheartedly endorse them. br>br>I needed a set of handles to transport the ramps I built for our RV. These ramps are made up of three 2x12s, the longest of which is four feet long. Although the ramps are heavy, they are easily carried thanks to these handles. I attached the handles with stainless steel 10 sheet metal screws - The screw heads are the perfect size to fit into the grooves in the molded plastic. br>br>The rubber ends of the nylon strap are molded around it - The straps run the entire length of the garment - Increasing the attachment's and load-carrying capacity's security. br>Within the nylon strap around which the rubber handle is molded, there is something round and curved - makes it quite durable, prevents the rubber from collapsing, and thus makes it far more comfortable to hold when carrying a heavy load br>br>Given how well they worked for my project, I'm sure they'd work just as well for their intended use.
