Is this a single decal or a set of two (one for each side)?

Only one. Why? There are times when only one is required. As in the case of our 2004 boat. It's still in great shape! However, some family members stored it for us one winter in a way that exposed one side to more weathering than the other. The boat is fine, but the decals on one side are almost completely gone, while the ones on the other side are fine; if it came in a package of two, I wouldn't know what to do with the other one except put it in the garage to take up space. I hope that this clarifies why only one is required!

Has anyone sprayed clear polyurethane or anything else on the sticker after it's been applied to help protect it and keep it from peeling?

Prior to applying the paint, I used alcohol to clean the surface. I made sure to get rid of any trapped air bubbles. There was no further sealant used. I believe it is inextricably linked to the material of the canoe that you will need to reapply the labels at some point.

Is this a pair of shoes for $12? 95?

Hey! Yes, there are two of them, and they are both simple to use. My OT Pack now appears to be brand new. I bought the decals to boost the value of my car so I could sell it. It was sold two days later, and the proceeds went towards purchasing a new Old Town Discover 119. The OT logo is the original. It appeared to have been included.

2 people stated that they received a pair, but the company stated that it was for two decals. Do I need two decals?

I returned the decal to the Amazon supplier because there was only one included with the order. They're only $4 if you order them directly from Old Town. 99 each.

Our 1995 canoe looks great with the Old Town decal, which was an exact match. Please keep in mind that each order only comes with one decal, so if you need one for both sides of the canoe, you'll have to order two. Please place two orders!.
