Not at all what I had anticipated. I'm falling downhill with these; The friction between my skin and the interior fabric as it twisted continues to cause injury to me. As a replacement, I purchased the 187 killers elbow pad, and you can tell the difference right away. I'm much more comfortable with the 187 killers pad, and I don't have any exposed skin. In addition, I'm hoping that the rigidity of my new elbow pad will prevent any strange twisting of the pad, as I've seen with the Pro-Tec. Tec Elbow Pad is a type of elbow pad that is designed to protect your elbow br>br>Other than that, I have four other Pro-Am products. Tec, but at the very least to keep my elbows safe in high-speed situations. In high-speed situations, I'll reach for the 187 killers pads without hesitation.
The pads' sizing is critical because, depending on what you use them for, ordering a size too small can make them tight and uncomfortable over time. I have no complaints or praise for the pads; they are safety pads, after all. What else can you think of?.
I used to skate about 15 years ago and am now 29 years old. I've been trying to get back into it, and these are what I wear when I try trucks again. I love the retro look and how comfortable it is. I've had a couple of good falls, and they've been extremely beneficial. Excellent appearance, feel, and protection as well as mobility. There's nothing more that can be said. I'm around 205 pounds and 6'1" tall, and I ordered the xl size, which fits well but could definitely fit someone a little larger. I'd recommend a large if you're a small person.
They did their job, and despite the fact that I have crashed into them several times, they are taking a beating while I am not. br>The fabric is beginning to tear and stuff, but that's to be expected; after all, it's better than me.
I work in the construction industry and have a number of knee pads. I had no idea there were knee pads that were as comfortable to wear as these. These are fantastic! br>br>.
The quality isn't very good. Longboarding isn't something I do very often, especially now that it's winter in my hometown. I drove 11 hours south, packed my board, and was cruising around a university campus when I crashed. To protect my tattoos, I wore these elbow pads and professional knee pads. My left elbow pad completely tore upon impact (this was my first time going down with padding), resulting in a completely skinned elbow around the entire ball of the joint. The plastic pad was fine, but the material used as a strap appears to be weak. As a result, I'll be recovering for several weeks because I have very little strength in that arm and even less range of motion.
All of the reviews were read by me. People have said that these are small, and I can attest to that. I'm a 175-pound woman who stands 5'7" tall. I don't have big arms, but these fit perfectly. I'm glad I got the X Large because the pad itself is a little big, and I probably could have gotten away with a large. Not only are the straps nice and solid, but they also cover the entire arm. The knee pads, on the other hand, are useless; I can't even use them. However, I'll write about my findings on those in a separate post. As is, I'm satisfied with these Elbow Pads. Without a doubt, I feel safe.
Over the years, I've tried a few different knee pads and have never found a pair that fit so well and provided such excellent protection. Let's just say that after a nearly two-decade hiatus, I recently resurrected my skateboarding career. I work somewhere that requires you to wear knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and a helmet while skateboarding, which turns out to be sound advice because you don't feel anything when you fall with these knee pads on, and they also don't limit your mobility.
