The spokes' gauge is used to determine which slots to use. I can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure it's three. The wrench comes in a variety of sizes, one of which is 7.

This is a fantastic tool. I just finished removing all of the spokes from my wheel. I'm blown away by how well this tool works. I've also removed the spokes from all of the other bikes in my house, and I'm going to see if my neighbors have any. This is a fantastic device. I'm looking forward to loosening up a few more spokes. br>br>But seriously, this is a good product, and the 15 was exactly what I needed for my road bike, and it's small enough to fit in a small tool bag for road trips on the bike; it's a great product. br>br>I don't work for Amazon, the Seller, or any other third party or company. I was not bribed or compensated in any way for writing this review.
I had hoped for a range of sizes so that I could choose the tightest fit whenever I needed it. I'm not pleased with myself. This wrench is available in a variety of sizes. However, the majority of them are so large that they are useless. Every year, I work on a large number of bikes. The most popular measurements are and. 127" is a number that can be used to represent a number of different things 130". This wrench, on the other hand, has a smallest opening of. All of the other slots are larger than 130". In addition, the 15th slot (which equals. 130") is repeated on the opposite side of the page. Despite the fact that both slots are labeled as being the same size 15, they are different sizes. 130", as well as 134". Similarly, the 14th slot is used twice. One slot with a length of and a width of and a depth of and and 138" on one hand, and as on the other. 143". I have to assume poor quality control in the absence of a logical explanation. br>br>The sizes available are insufficient for my routine bicycle repair needs, and the quality control is unfortunately lacking. br>br>I'm sorry I made this purchase. However, it was too small to return.
Because I perform all of my own maintenance and repairs on my bike, I needed a spoke wrench for when I needed to replace or tune a spoke. Because the previous owner of my bike used different size nipples on the rims, I bought this tool because I didn't know what size spokes I had. Thankfully, it has all the sizes you'll ever need. The only reason I gave it a four-star rating instead of a five is that it is made of very mild steel with no finish. Every time I use it, I have to wipe it down with an oily rag, or else it will be rusted the next time I want to use it. Aside from that, I'm quite pleased with this tool. It's simple, has easy-to-read spoke sizes, and is well-made, but keep in mind that the steel is mild and will rust if not kept oily.
This spoke wrench appears to be well-made and durable, as well as adaptable to a variety of bikes thanks to slots for the most common spoke nipple sizes. Despite the fact that it claims to be made of CRMO, it appears to be just as heavy as regular steel - For its size, it is quite heavy. As a result, I won't be able to take it on long road bike rides as I had hoped. A single- barrel size- Because the type spoke wrench is much lighter and better suited for this application, I'll be looking to get one of these as well.
Wow, what a useful tool to have! After 35 miles on my new Walmart bike, my spokes were creaking like crazy, but now everything is fine, and it rides even better! This tool is extremely durable, and it will easily outlast my lifetime (I'm in my early twenties). It's quite substantial and well-made. I took about 2 minutes to tighten my front spokes. It's that simple. Thanks!.
The slots appear to be too small - I have other individually sized spoke wrenches, but I purchased this one in the hopes of making life easier when dealing with a variety of sizes, but it does not appear to be precise enough. A perfect fit isn't always required for many other tools, but for a spoke wrench, it has to be perfect or the nipple will be rounded off.
Made in Taiwan, this is an excellent product. The gauge markings are easy to read, so I can get to work right away. With the wrench, replacing a broken spoke and tightening the new one was a breeze. My old spoke wrench was too small to work on a new bike, so having all of the sizes on hand is much better than using a crescent wrench. I'm very pleased with the accuracy and high quality of the work. It feels great to have a firm grip on the metal and a lot of leverage on both sides of the spoke.
