This is for a single wheel only. I can tell you that I've driven about 1,000 miles since installing the system and have had no problems.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a tad on the heavy side. It's definitely easier to mount a tire without glue than with glue, but getting the tire on the rim was difficult because the tape doesn't stick to the tire all the way around until you peel the backing off. However, there is no comparison. This is enough for one wheel? The glue is much better and a lot less expensive! The real advantage of glue is that you can mount and remount tires with just a fresh layer of glue once or twice before having to strip! This stuff is only good for one use, so you'll need two boxes to attach two tires to rims! A whole roll of CX brand is $25 for ten wheels. It's also, in my opinion, more effective at bonding. br>However, glue is what I prefer!.
I had to go over everything again. After the front hub has been rebuilt, install the tubular tire. I used spray cleaner and goo gone to clean the wheel, then used more cleaner to remove the goo gone. After that, carefully apply the tape to the tire and press it on, making sure to deflate it and follow the instructions on the box. br>There was a slight bulge in the tire after inflation; it was better after deflation and repositioning the wheel in the center, then reinflation, but there was still a bulge. The bulge disappeared in 4 to 5 days, leaving a perfectly smooth tire in its place, so be patient. Did I say to read the instructions on the back of the box?.
It was perfect for my wheelset.
