Did you use glue to secure this rim strip to the rim, or did everyone rely on the rubber's elasticity to keep it in place?

There's no need for glue because the rubber squeezing the rim and the tube pushing it should take care of any problems.

What is the width of the space?

It's only about an inch long. Because it's only for a dirtbike wheel, it should work.

This strip is a little wide, so I bought it for an H-frame. It arrived on time and in good condition. I had to cut it down to fit properly because it was a D wide glide. My bad.

These rim strips are perfect for DR wheels; I bought some aftermarket wheels to use on the street and needed rim strips; these fit perfectly; my wheels are 1. 25 inches wide. 75 and 2. 15 (or a close approximation).

Really don't know what to say about this product; it's used inside the wheel to keep the inner tube from being pinched; it's also used on the rim to keep the tube from being pinched; it works well so far.

The rim strip is very nice

It's reasonably priced tube insurance. The rim strip I replaced had a wear spot over a spoke nipple and was thinner. It was only a matter of time before the tube was severed by the nipple.
