I'm not sure if this is true for all sizes, but the one I bought (16mm) appears to have enough "give" that a schrader valve stem could be inserted if desired. The only difference between schrader and presta stems is 2mm (8mm diameter for schrader vs. 6mm for Presta), and I believe you'd have enough flexibility with this fabric tape to make up for that 2mm difference.

You will receive two rolls, each measuring 2 meters in length. I used one roll of Velox tape to cover a 26-inch rim. Use a portion of the second roll if the first isn't enough. The most important thing is to make sure that the 16 mm width will fit your rim, which it did on my MTB rim.
I'm not sure, but you should measure with calipers or something semi-rigid that you can trim to fit inside the rim before measuring. All you have to do now is make sure the spoke holes are covered.

What can I say, it's one of the oldest and still the best, and I'm a retro-addict. grumpy mountain/road cyclist who has refrained from going tubeless. When both of my brothers were in high school, they both worked in bike shops, and they always said that the small, tried-and-true items should never be overlooked. Two of them are rim strips and bar tape. I've been riding Velox since 1989, when I bought my first mountain bike (a secondhand Schwinn Cimmaron), and have used it for many years of racing and beyond. Thick tape with a good grip on the rim. I disinfected the area with a disinfectant wipe (which I had on hand in abundance). ) to clean the rim of debris and grease before attaching it, which could have improved adhesion. The tape was a little wider than my rim's deepest "valley" (which was about 10 mm), but I was able to bend it and cover parts of the slope on both sides without difficulty. It's flexible, but it's also thick and appears to be very sturdy, so I'm confident it'll keep the tube safe. The valve cutouts in this French product's tape are sized for French Presto valves, not the larger Schrader valves (which my tube has). This is not mentioned in the description. I started taping my rim just beyond the valve cutout, ensuring that the tape cutout did not line up with a spoke nut location. The tape was approximately 1 inch (2. 25 cm) wide. 5 cm) longer than what was required for my 700x25 tire size, so it could be cut shorter at the start to help with placement of the cutout away from spoke nuts.

This rim tape is simply thicker than any of my other wheels' rim tape. Because of the thickness, installing my tire was nearly impossible (it took an entire day and a lot of skin loss). This should not be used if your tires are too tight.
I wrapped two 27" x 1" pieces with this tape. 25”. To begin with, it isn't exactly "adhesive. " Fortunately, once it's in the rim where you want it and the tire is fully inflated, it stays put; however, I had to stretch the tape quite a bit to get it to wrap completely around the rim. It felt a little strange at first, but with a little elbow grease, you can get it to fit around a 27-inch rim. Aside from that, it appears to be extremely sturdy and well constructed.

I used to have an old hybrid that sat in my garage collecting dust. The tires and tubes were both made of dry rubber. The old rim tape had rotted and was in bad shape. After cleaning up everything, this tape went on smoothly and easily, just as you'd expect.
