All of the pedals are the same.
I don't see why not, as long as you're wearing the right cleat.
I could be mistaken, but I believe the threads should be the same.
Selected User Reviews For SHIMANO SPD Pedal Clipless Pedals
My wife only had SPD clips on her shoes, not road shoe clips, and I had a Peloton. Because we both wore SPD shoes, we were able to easily share the bike. Given that this is a stationary bike with no impact on the pedals, I was extremely disappointed when the seal on one pedal failed in less than a month and the pedal began clicking incessantly. On the other hand, I was beginning to notice a grease leak. We rode the pedals for about 200 miles total, possibly a little more, before they began to fail. I would have expected a mountain bike pedal to last longer in this application. br>br>After purchasing road shoes, my wife and I have switched to LOOK pedals. It's not just a better pedal, but it's a MUCH better pedal. We've been together for five months and have had no problems.
After watching numerous YouTube videos and reading numerous reviews, I decided to purchase the Shimano SH- Shimano PD-56 SPD cleat set and the Shimano PD-56 SPD cleat set 9/16in M520L Clipless Bike Pedals plus a pair of Shimano cleat-compatible shoes Everything was set up for $10 at a local bike shop. Clipping in and out the first time out was simple and painless. Just make sure the pedals are set to low force. A fantastic system that gives cycling a whole new level of power and enjoyment. This book comes highly recommended.
I'm not sure what kind of seller "SHIMANO BIKE" is, but they clearly have very low customer service standards. Now, this could be an Amazon warehouse error, but I rarely have problems with Amazon products. br>br>Last week, I ordered the White SPD Shimano pedals, which were $10 more expensive than the black or silver versions. Package arrived quickly via Prime in a bag with a barcode and product title indicating the color was White, but the pedals were the cheaper black Shimano SPD pedals as indicated on the box, same pedal wrong color for $10 more. br>br>I immediately returned and reordered to get the correct color, and they sent me another set of black pedals in a white bag. br>br>As for the product, the pedals are fantastic. br>br> I've had no problems with them in the past (they came with my Marin Mount Vision). They're a little heavy, but they're low-profile, high-quality, beefy Shimano pedals that have held up well. So, I ordered another set, but I wanted to change up the color scheme on the bike, so the white was a crucial detail for me as a buyer, and I was willing to pay the extra money. br>br>Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with this seller and the entire Amazon experience with this product. br>br>I will never buy from "Shimano Bike" on Amazon again. A significant amount of time was wasted due to a minor oversight as a result of poor quality control. br>br>I'll keep looking for another pair of white M520s. If you're not an ultralight rider, it's a great pedal that's both simple and effective.
These are a perfect fit for my Sunny Health stationary bike, and the cleats are included.
I use these "mountain" pedals on all of my bikes, whether they are road, cross, or off-road. road. They've performed admirably in all types of weather, and I like how quickly my cleats slide into the pedals on top or bottom. Both are identical. Shimano's SH56 cleats are my favorite because they release in every direction. In my opinion, this is a better option than the SH51's single release.
These pedals are perfect for my road bike, and I've already purchased a pair for my peloton. There are no squeaks or noises, and it is quick and easy to snap into and out of. It took me about five minutes to put them together, and I've been using them on the peloton for a couple of months now. It's a significant improvement because it allows me to wear my road shoes instead of the clips or shoes that were previously available. I would strongly suggest it.
The pedals are amazing. Unless you're a serious competitor, there's no reason to spend more. I'm glad I upgraded from some older Shimano and very old coda spd pedals. The release is much tighter than I'm used to because mine were old and worn in, but a quick adjustment to loosen the tension on these and I was in a comfort zone in a matter of minutes. Highly recommended, and I'm looking forward to putting a lot of miles on these.
Since this is my first set of clip-art, I thought I'd share them with you. I needed a pair of pedals that I could get in and out of quickly. These pedals were exactly what I needed, and the price was right on. I mounted these on my mountain bike and found that after a little tweaking, they greatly improved my efficiency. If you're learning to use clip-ons, you should invest in these. For the first time, I'm going to say less.
