Questions & Answers

Are there cleats included?

Yes. Yellow cleats are the standard.

What's the difference between the ultegra pd- and the ultegra pd-plus? 6800 spd- ultegra r8000 spd sl and ultegra r8000 spd sl and ultegra r8000 thanks! ?

The 8000 series pedals have been reduced to 0. The 6800 iterations are 6mm lower in stack, have a 4mm longer axle, and weigh 248 grams.

What's the difference between a standard and a 4mm axle? Is there still room on the bike for both of them?

Both will fit your bike, with the exception that the longer axle will extend further from the crank arm. Which one is the best fit for you depends on your biomechanics. I believe the majority of people use standard axle lengths.

The cost that has been quoted. $115. 79 . Is it for a pair of pedals or just one?

I believe they mean pair when they say pedals in the ad. Riding with only one person is difficult.

It's either a fake or a low-quality item
3/5

I'll start by saying that I worked as a shop mechanic for three years in college, raced Cat 3/2, and rode the first Look pedals in the late 1980s. Now it's time to get to work on the pedals. As I threaded the first pair in, I noticed that the pedal bodies wobbled (both L and R pedals). - Translation The spindles have been bent or are not machined perfectly. The same thing happened when I ordered a replacement pair. The following are the two possibilities: br>1) insufficient quality - It's hard to believe that these aren't Shimano Ultegrabr>2) These aren't Shimano - fakes. br>br>If someone can come up with a reasonable explanation, I'll keep an open mind. I still have my 35-year-old Look pedals in a box, and I'm sure I could spin them in without any wobble.

Clipping is simple
5/5

When driving away from a stop sign, these pedals do not rotate. Instead, they come to a halt in the proper spot, making clipping in simple and consistent. You won't be dropped because you can't find the clip in point any longer!.

After a decade of riding with the same old pair of Look pedals with the Delta cleat, I decided it was time to upgrade my pedals with my new bike
5/5

Having previously owned Time pedals (unreliable) and Speedplay pedals (too much free float for my taste), I was torn between the new Looks with the Keo cleat and Shimano SPD-SL pedals. SL pedals are a type of pedal. The weight, durability, and stack height all appeared to be similar. The Look has 9 degrees of float, while the Shimano has 6 degrees of float and is more self-contained. a point of focus I chose Shimano because I read in reviews that the Keo cleat still had the side-to-side movement. With my Delta cleat, there was a side wobble that was bothering me. I went with Ultegra because it was only $20 more than 105 pedals, and I figured the incremental improvement would be worth it in a decade or so. I've driven a few hundred miles on these and am very pleased with them. 3 degrees of float is lost, and the self-awareness is lost. The fact that these pedals are self-centering does not bother me in the least. In fact, I've never had a problem with my knees. I also appreciate the lack of sway. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a high-quality upper-class hotel to stay here. a range pedal that isn't outrageously priced.

When you unclip the pedals, they hang well and are easy to re-clip
5/5

I already have SPD pedals on all of my bikes, so I figured switching to the SL style would be a minor upgrade. I was completely off the mark! These shoes feel very stable and connected when worn on the road. When you unclip the pedals, they hang well and are easy to re-clip. On hard surfaces, the SL cleats are far superior to the SPD cleats for walking. I'm very pleased with the quality and wish I had tried them sooner. The new design, which has a lower stack height and is lighter in weight, was also a major plus. The best pedal on the market in terms of value for money.

For the quality, it's a great deal
5/5

I recently upgraded to Shinano Ultegra PD-II shoes. After 12 years of using Shimano 105 pedals, I upgraded to R8000 pedals. This upgrade has given me a lot of pleasure. These are about 40-percent lower with carbon technology. 50% lighter than my old pair from more than a decade ago. For the first few rides, the pedal shafts were a little stiff. I think I worked them in a little more, and they're now a little more loose. These pedals come highly recommended by me. You can't use a pedal wrench on these pedals, so keep that in mind. This is a great way to lose weight, in my opinion. I tightened the bolts to the recommended tightness of 10Nm with my torque wrench. There have been no problems after several rides.

Pedals that are phenomenal
5/5

I purchased a second set of pedals for my TT bike because the Ultegra pedals I use on my road bike have proven to be extremely reliable, perform admirably, and simply do what they're supposed to do. I put a lot of pressure on these guys; in fact, I do two things for them. I ride my bike for about 12 hours per week and compete in three races per month, so they've been put through the ringer and perform admirably. This is an excellent product.

Excellent Pedals for the Road
5/5

For the past 7 years, I've been riding with Shimano Ultegra pedals. This generation of pedals has a lot to offer - I've driven them for about 5,000 miles and have had no issues. They're lightweight, stiff, long-lasting, comfortable, and perform admirably. The clipping mechanism works flawlessly - When you're clipped in and getting out of the pedals is firm but predictable, you know you're clipped in. I like them so much that I put them on my gravel (which is mostly off-road). Make sure you have three holes in your shoes for cleat bolts if you're riding a road bike.

I really like the pedals
5/5

Installing it was a breeze. Spin with ease. Great way to get a little more speed out of my bike. br>br>The wider platform took some getting used to (I was used to SPD clippers), but when standing and sprinting, my foot feels a lot more stable and transfers the energy into the downstroke rather than balancing my foot at the correct angle. br>br>Came with the yellow cleat (not the orange), which was exactly what I wanted.
