The hubby ordered this bike stand for my son who got into mountain biking and needed to change some components on the bike. He thought a bike stand would make it easier and my son enjoyed it as well. I don't ever feel like I'm going to tip over or anything while riding on it. It is sturdy in terms of holding the weight of the bike. It took me several hours to use it and I had to re-attempt to fix a couple of things Make sure the clamp is tight. After pushing hard enough on the bike, it slowly loosen up, but it never came out, and perhaps if I had manoeuvred more I could have helped it move a little more I could have tightened it enough in the first place if I had the hands to do so. I didn't like, was that the bike would turn away from me every now and then and I'd have to turn it back again to keep it from turning away. I didn't have to use it constantly for it to frustrate me, but if I needed to use it all the time, then it could cause me to get frustrated. The fact that it can be folded and expanded easily, and is easy to store, makes it a great tool. Our tire was also strapped so it would not rotate, but you can tie it off with rope or rags you already have sitting around your house. I definitely recommend it for occasional home use, so I got good value for my It would be best to try to find a stand that can hold a little tighter and has some sort of anchor to keep the post from swiveling if you're looking for something you will use frequently.

It is important to ensure the mounting arm of bike clamp is aligned with the knob on the bike stand itself in order for it to work. (See Photos) The knob on the bike stand is designed to make sure the mounting arm works properly. Use the clamping arm at a right angle to the tightening knob, but never the other way around. As a result, it was impossible to carry my RadRover ebike, weighing around 70 pounds, on the arm. So, I went about it the wrong way initially. Almost any position can be used for the clamping arm, but if the arm is placed in line with the tightening knob, it will provide the strongest support. The bike stand easily supported the weight of the bike when the arm was adjusted in line with the tightening knob. I was very impressed with the stability of the tripod when the bike was raised high in the air. I never had any feeling of the bicycle tipping over. The handle bar is not very stable because it lacks a support rod, but a bungee cord works nicely as a replacement.

MANY COMMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE ON HOW WELL CONSTRUCTED THE STAND IS. According to the label, it has a maximum weight capacity of 85 lbs. When I put my e-bike on the stand, I noticed there was a significant amount of deflation on the top bar. My E-bike weighs 57 pounds. BIKEHAND STANDS ARE USED BY MY COMPANY SO I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS TYPE OF deflation before. There is no way I know if I am safe and the bike is as well. It would certainly be unpleasant to have a fall like this. As I am not satisfied with the performance of this stand, I will return it. A very well-made, sturdy, and easily collapsed product. It lost a star for the chrome plated bolts and screws used, and the plastic teeth on the clamp bar that allowed it to rotate. With regard to the chrome plated screws, I washed my bike while it was on the stand and it worked perfectly. After the frame bolts were inspected the next day, though, there were some rust spots. In addition to cleaning the bolts and putting bike grease over the bolt heads and surrounding area, I will see if this helps prevent corrosion. The plastic teeth on the rotation will wear out easily since they are exposed to a lot of wear. However, since the seat clamp takes some time to clamp a seat post while you have to hold the bike suspended, it's not a big deal. For me, securing the top tube is the majority of its use, so I will use it very little as a rotational tool. The stand is sturdy and securely holds a bike for a good price. It is a solid purchase for light use with only minor issues. The stand is a solid buy for the price.

Excellent bike repair stand for heavy bikes, like my electric bike. I bought it to use on my e-bike which is rather heavy. I found it to be very useful. It folds up nice and flat so it's If you want to achieve the best results, clamp your bike by the seat post.
