Questions & Answers

Do you think this stand tips due to its two legs only?

The weight should be evenly balanced and you should not tip your bike if you can clamp it via the top tube. You may find it difficult to use one of these mounts if you have a bike without a rack Considering the round shape of the 2019 Trek Domane bike, you will need to be careful because you will clamp via the seat post. As the wheels are attached, I am able to balance the weight (front/rear) approximately 60/40 by clamping via the seat post. Having reached that point, things are stable enough. I get in over my head when I remove the wheels. In the case of a rider who weighs twice as much as the rider, the weight distribution becomes 70/30 or 65/35. The bike will tip over towards the front if I don't take care at that point.

The pedals must be installed to rotate the crank. Is there enough clearance? In addition to a stand for my chain scrubber, I'm also interested in a stand for using it. ?

In this case, there is plenty of room. Whenever the bike is upright, I rotate the cranks of the bike all the time while it is on the rack. There is plenty I like the stand too, it's well made and looks great A sturdy construction.

The clamp is very durable, but how long does it last? From the looks of it, it is made of ?

It would receive a satisfactory rating from me. As far as the hardware is concerned, it's sufficient for my needs. I would not buy this to work on bikes regularly. I would not buy this to hold a bike. It has not popped out of position to date, nor did it show signs of weakness. Despite its wobbly nature, this unit is great for storing and quickly maintaining my 29 pound mountain bike. It is easy to move and very portable for use with I am not sure if I would recommend this product if your bike is more than 30 pounds. It would be better to mount the machine on a bench or wall. The only complaint I have is that it's necessary to rotate the clamping handle and loosen it to properly grab and remove my bicycle (perhaps because it's an anodized post or a big By holding it in this state, at which I either apply pressure or release the lever (aiming to slip my seat post in/out of the clamp), we find that it is not secure enough to hold my bike and my seat post falls off. Having used it now for a year or so has become second nature to me. On the whole, I rate it a In comparison with competing products, I gave it a 5/5 for what it did for me, and a 4/5 for value. Thanks for taking the time to read - my answer is long The review will be posted under the review tab.

Our company Cyclingdeal USA INC sells both types of stands. Despite being made by different factories in Taiwan*, they are of the same quality.

Repair Stand at a great price
5/5

This stand is very versatile, lightweight, and compact in size when rolled up. Compared to some of the cheaper stands available, this was the stand I picked. The other options folded up in this price range, but this was the only one that folded up. As soon as you put your bike on it, it is very stable, incredibly quick and easy to set up, and very easy to tear down. We'll have to see how well the plastics hold up to years of abuse only time will tell. While the clamp rotates 360 degrees, it often feels like it is tearing up the plastic teeth when the bike is being spun on the stand. With this kind of money, it's hard to find anything to match this level of quality. You can watch the video to learn more about this stand and to see how it works.

The quality of a medium Despite the low price, this stand does its job
4/5

I have had it There is likely fifty times that I have taken it down and put it back up for use with ten and twenty-five There are bikes that weigh only five pounds. There are several advantages to it, including its durability and ease of use The design. For the same benefit, it is possible to spend twice as much It even included Park's mid-term elections Parts of range stands are made of plastic. There have been numerous cycling events where Shimano uses branded versions of this to showcase their Following are a few pointers to address the concerns people raised There are quick-release bolts on every clamp with a bolt The handle will be released. If you like, you can tighten the bolts on the opposite side to make each connection all the way firm. This stand will never move or slide unless it is physically damaged by breaking a plastic collar. The plastic appears to be nylon composite. It is as sturdy as any I've seen, but it does have a bit of flex and creak to it, not quite as much as It is quite possible that the main clamp's rotation mechanism is not arranged perfectly at the factory due to very tight tolerances. The teeth will mesh firmly when the hex screw beneath it is tightened. To remove any gaps between the teeth, remove the flip handle, remove the handle, and then tighten the screw underneath the handle. When the handle is loose, do not overshoot, or you will not be able to rotate. A little less cam travel would be nice on the main clamp system. To get the clamp tight, loosen the cam lever, hold the bike in place, engage the cam, and then spin the lever until it is tight. My reason for docking a star is because of this. Attaching the clamp to heavier bikes can be awkward. It is best to attach it to the bike while it is on the ground, then lift and rotate it until it is in It is the two-pronged attack that is responsible for the riots There are no spaces between the legs It is effective. You can stay stable too if you do not try to pervert the laws of It is pretty tough to mount an offset rig if it is more than two feet off the ground. You can mount the stand by either the seatpost, seat tube, or top You should choose the one that best fits your bike and the changes you're trying to make. My bike's seatpost clamps on the stand so I can rotate the front end down so the weight is vertically centered while doing drivetrain maintenance. It's almost impossible to shake your bike when using it, so it puts less stress on your bike.

If I needed to use it constantly and didn't need portability, I'd buy an empty park bench. Arm mounted to the vehicle. Other than that, I haven't found any portable stands that offer much more than this one does.

Control problem in the quality assurance process
3/5

My stand arrived yesterday and I opened it to realize there was a missing bolt holding the head on the post. Rather than have to return it, I will go to the hardware store and see if they have a replacement part. The quality here is sloppy and sloppy.

Nice, but make sure the hardware is free from defects that are not visible at first sight
3/5

This rack was very well built. The results exceeded my expectations, but I found one problem to be frustrating. It worked fine the first two days, then the nut would only screw on the first 1/4 of the bolt then slide the rest of the way because the nut suddenly became too large for the bolt. It seems like a simple fix to replace them both rather than There may be a drawback in that I would not be able to use my original tightening handle anymore since the proprietary bolt is fitted with a ball so the handle fits. The next step is to update you.

It was well worth the price
5/5

The best way to save your This has been a great tool for me once I've used Recent upgrades in my bike have converted it from a v to a disc brake unit. Without the stand, I had to do all the conversions without the stand. It would have been best if I had purchased Two reasons drove me to buy the stand one to save my back from having to bend over so much to work on my bike and two I don't have a bike shop nearby and really want to learn how to work on my bike without having to travel an hour and pay someone else. While it was not the cheapest or the most expensive stand, it did not fall below either of those two. As for the price, I think it was the perfect stand for the bike, and after setting it up and using it, I believe it was well worth purchasing. Getting the setup done was very simple. When folding it up, it's fairly compact, so if your garage doesn't have much room, you can store it out of the way. You typically find quick release skewers on most bike wheels and seat posts, so it's very easy to adjust the height, tilt, and angle of your bike. This really helps when you want to set up the bike so it's at the optimal working angle. There is only one thing that is a little tricky about this that I would say is where to clamp on the bike itself and once you get that figured out how to get the bike raised You still have a quick release that helps you get it clamped on your bike. The clamping part is made of plastic. I had to move my reflector and rear light bracket out of the way so I could clamp to the seat post. The little tray is useful for holding tools but if you don't have a permanent place to put the stand it takes a minute to attach and remove. I found the bike to be very solid and safe once you got it balanced and at the height where you could work on it.
