The bike stand has been on my wish list for years. The basket is very compact, which makes it easy to stow in the back of my Miata, just in case I must make adjustments on site.
My shipment included *two* 5mm Allen wrenches for maintenance, which can be reused. I will deal with the fact that neither are marked. This book received four stars instead of five because of the following two reasons
1) I had to position the bike opposite the tool tray to make enough clearance for me to pedal. 2) The support strut was not completely assembled, so I have not yet figured out how to attach the second end. Generally speaking, it's a good stand. If you're tired of smelling mud all over your work area, the Bike Wheel Stand is a great option.
As I had been having trouble adjusting the shifter without the aid of a repair stand, I decided to sign up for this kit This is a highly rated and remarkably affordable one ($48 at the time I purchased it). related to my wife yesterday, I know I could've spent more than two hours on the project It would have cost a lot more (or more) to make a stand, but I am confident I would not have been 2 - 3 times as much. A fourfold increase in happiness. This bike rack is solid, it's easy to set up and use, and it holds both my lightweight "recreational" bike and my heavier touring bike. I have a couple of minor complaints There's a lot of weight here The first time). The heavy-duty work table has four legs rather than three, which forces me to add shims under the feet if I work outdoors on uneven surfaces (such as my yard). The feet of the chair are hard plastic, and they slide too easily on hard floors, such as The complaints behind the 3. 5 star rating kept me from giving it 5 stars, but I would still buy the product again if I had to.
This stand does what it's supposed to do. There is no room for much equipment on the tool tray. The only reason for only one star is that the first jaw came cracked and the replacement jaw came cracked again. There is no packaging and in transit the items get damaged. The functions aren't happy with the fact I'm not able to get a stand that's in good condition.
However, they are still effective (at least for I feel that it will be useful for my 1 bike maintenance. It's not for commercial use, but I believe it will be useful for my own use. I will be able to fix any broken plastic with metal or plastic joints and clamps from a hardware store if it breaks. Both the legs and the pipes are very sturdy and made of steel. A locking position pin would be helpful for the clamp so that the main clamp does not slide on the pipe. I may use some rubber inserts between the steel pipe and the clamp that will keep it firmly attached. I will report back if anything breaks, but today, all is well. **Update******* I have used it several times to service my bike as well as two The only other complaint I have is that with one of the bikes, the cables run under the top tube and can be pulled on. Other than that, still holding up well.
RAD Bike Hoist must be used in conjunction with it to lift & lower bikes Where should I place The bike, weighing approximately 50 lbs with the battery removed, is clamped into the bike stand.
As you would expect, there are no better options out there, and I have nothing else to compare it to. To attach the bike, I turned the clamp 90 degrees to attach it to the seat post tube of the bike. It would interfere with my cables on a mtb from the mid 90s if I attached it to the top tube. Because the bike center of gravity is in the front, the front tire will slowly move down, while the back tire will slowly move up as the bike moves. It means, if I go on break and come back a couple of hours later, I can just re-do it Place the object in the proper It's not that big a deal. There is a lot of tension you can apply to the clamps, and it is A plastic clamp is used. It is only one that connects the horizontal tubes that might be a weak point. However, I believe it to be pretty solid, and it seems like it will last for a very long time. If it fails at some point, I would be able to fix it with some galvanized plumbing components. Anyhow, if you're like me and you don't want to spend a lot, you'll enjoy this product.
The best way to work on your bikes at home is with this bike stand. The stand is made out of metal and has clamps made out of plastic. I found assembly to be straight forward and easy to do. Maintains the bike upright at a variety of positions for easy access to hard-to-reach places. Because the parts are plastic, we would not recommend them for commercial use. If you are using it at home to fix your family bikes then it is perfect. I'll update after long-term use, but I think it is amazing. It arrived with a broken tab, so we deducted a star due to the fact that it's not usable. A bit of a turnoff, but not really the end of the world.
