You will be able to fit awkward shaped tubes into it and since it has no lever action, you would need to really pound on it to damage anything. However, you should connect this to your seat post for safety reasons.
Despite its ability to rotate 360 degrees on the axis pictured in the image, the clamp cannot be moved up and down relative to the floor because the bar it's mounted to can't be moved up and down. Answer No, it cannot be oriented in that way. If I understood the question correctly, it cannot be oriented in that way.

As far as I know, it works. I've used it once. I encountered a problem with one of the plastic pieces when I was assembling it. One of the nuts was easily shifted around. Although I couldn't use it, I was still able to access it. I have tried to contact the company but I am unable to find any way to do so. My concern is very great about this. In an environment where there appears to be no way to contact the company with a problem, it is hard to see how the company stands behind its product.
The first impression I had of this stand was not good. A few eBikes need servicing with this equipment - I purchased it for that purpose A Rad Power Rover and a Mini Step-through As a whole An upright bike and a lightweight recumbent bike. Although the eBikes themselves didn't have batteries, they seemed to be pushing the weight capacity of the stand to the limit. I thought the two eBikes were about 50 pounds each sans batteries These bikes were really tight to the point where the battery and the stand had to be clamped down to the breaking point. In that it has to really be cranked into place to hold the bike, the inner pole mechanism has also been criticized as a weak link of the design. The horizontal pole of a fat tire bike needs to be extended fully so that the pedals cannot turn. Any folding eBike I have seen the tube clamp does not extend far enough, so all of the information above is just a piece of bad news if you intend on using the stand with a bike like the RadMini or RadMini Step-Up. I'll be thru. If your bike is a large frame, you can clamp to the seat post and it works just fine. As you can see in the pictures, the RadRover frame will fit into the clamp and the stand will hold the bike at any height up to the maximum (as you can see on the image above). This fragile rod doesn't do much other than keep the front wheel out of the way, but it's still helpful, so no need to worry about it. I have attached another picture of the frame clamp, one of many weak points a design has. It is very easy for those red gripping pieces to slip off and become a tripping hazard when really inconvenient times arise. Until now, mine have held in place after being superglued in place. I did not anticipate this stand making it through most of the summer as a result of the Though summer is still a few months away, I have made a lot of progress this winter on the stand in my basement, and all of my negative perceptions so far have proven false. This work stand is a great work space, and it makes many bike maintenance tasks a lot easier. In light of the positive reviews I read here, I thought I would expect a lot more from Amazon, but the official policies as well as its algorithm make it too easy for fraud and hyped reviews to happen. 4 stars are the best I will likely be able to offer, since I don't think anyone is paying for reviews.
However the handlebar holder wand snaps off the first day of use and is poorly made. In essence, that is an unnecessary part, they should just leave it out bc it is very cheaply made and won't last as long, because the rest of the product is sufficient and effective. It seems that this will not sufficiently clamp the bike - I've experienced this to be so. Depending on what you do on the bike, it may shift upward or downward a little bit and rotate on the axis of the clamp when you put pressure on it. This rack holds the bike firmly enough that it's stable, but not so firmly that I can't hold the bike in a different position by swinging the handlebar this way or that, so I decided to keep it even with the snapped off To be sure that you have a solid grip, you must A no-movement bike repair stand is a good starting point, then buy a better one.
While I was opening the package, I discovered that the plastic part near the top of the tube that holds the bike was broken. intend to exchange or get the broken part replaced as soon as possible. In the past, I've been using this holder for a weekend project, but not this weekend. (* Updating ) A new stand was delivered today. This one too has the same broken part, so I needed to order a new In this case, it appears that the plastic parts were of poor quality, combined with a poor package.
There was a first generation bike stand I owned when I was in high school that was ok, but could only be mounted on certain types of bikes safely. On the other hand, this Pro Mechanic Bike Stand is absolutely excellent! I was able to interact with my Miyata Elevation Bike rapidly. I had lots of clearance to rotate the crank and sprocket It was nice to be able to focus on the task at hand rather than worry about possibly tipping my bike on my old stand. I am still amazed at how many different styles of bicycles you can fit on the Pro Stand. Quality is what I am seeing and stability is what I am experiencing. That's really a great idea!.
I am very satisfied with it. There are many different models on the market, and I spent a lot of time comparing them in order to find one that would support my ebikes which are both over 60lbs each. . . . You can work on your bike or clean it while knowing that it is being held safely and won't fall off the rack. This rack is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and you'll know that it won't fall off.
It seemed like the rack would collapse under the weight of my heavy ebike so I built a supporting stand out of PVC tubing, which sits under the bottom bracket and takes some of the weight off Although the clamp arm holds most of the weight, adding a PVC support stand will help prolong the durability of the rack.
If you have a bike which weighs between 60 and 80 pounds, this is a great rack and probably the only one you will ever need.
