Despite my expectations, I am delighted with the product. Designed to be strong and easy to collapse and transport, this table is very well made and very easy to use. The fact that it is divided into two pieces would be nice if it came with a carrying bag, but that is not an issue. In addition, my tray did not arrive with an instruction manual, so I was not sure how to attach it, but I do not need it, so I use it on a table near our front door as a key holder. As far as I can tell, it is fully waterproof and I have wet washed my bikes with it. In addition, I have fork mount roof racks, so I can take off the front wheels before putting cars on top of the bikes. Then, I just take the bikes in the car after I put them on. The product I purchased is exactly as advertised and I can't imagine how it could be better than the name brand blue product that costs much more.
It was a plain piece of thin cardboard. In spite of this, after assembling this stand and getting it up and running, I believe it's the best stand for the price. The all-aluminum design of this desk makes it sturdy and easy to use. It is also surprisingly light considering its construction. comes with a metal work tray that can be easily attached. Even though my bike weights 31 pounds, it does not have a problem supporting it. The price and quality of this product are good. The delivery was fast as well.
The two I bought are both in good condition. The stands are not very sturdy and if you need to work on a bike you should be looking at something else. There is a danger that it might topple over. It is positioned in every possible way, as I am able to.
This stand is the best deal you can get for the money. The only plastic part is the small collar on this one. I have seen others with metal parts. This candidate holds the 27th position. The 5 MTB is equipped with full suspension without any issues. * It can also accommodate a road bike with no problems.
This is my first bike stand, and I can hardly believe the difference it makes working on my road bike. The stand is easy to set up and surprisingly stable. The height of the stand is perfect for me because I am 6'2". The bike should always fall within the weight limits when you hang it on the unit, and you should use one of the three legs that is under the bike. It does not come with a bag for storage, but I will find something that works.
The only complaint I have is that I have only used it once. As soon as I took it out of the box, I inserted the crosspiece, and it was ready to use. When I hung my mountain bike on it, it held it in whatever position I locked it in. Eventually, the shifters and brakes of the bike had to be adjusted. As I worked on the tasks, the bike stand held firmly and I was never concerned that it would fall over or drop the bike.
It is very sturdy, well made, easy to fold, and all the clamps are solid and strong.
My son is a mountain bike racer and we are both avid mountain bikers. We picked up this stand for him for Christmas because he has been in need of one for a long time. We found the price for this to be moderate as well as quite nicer than many other options. Purchase was excellent. Very happy with it.
