It appears to be extra parts, if I am remembering correctly. It is easy to attach the tool tray like this stand, but I can't use it for my wife's recumbent trike. I can use it for a road bike and a mountain bike though. As well as that, it stores easily.

I believe that. Often when my husband has to adjust our disc brakes or fix a tire on our bike, he struggles to do it when it is This bike repair stand makes it so much easier since the bike is lifted and suspended in the air while being repaired. I like this useful gadget because it folds up like a tripod, which means it takes up a small amount of storage space, and it is lightweight as well. Even though this stand weighs only a little over 9 pounds, it is durable and can support a bike weighing up to 85 pounds, so it is perfect for our electric bike that weighs more than Those with fat tires can even store their bikes in this. Although this repair stand didn't really come with instructions, it is very straightforward and easy to use, especially since it folds up just like a tripod and there are three (3) legs on it. Also on the product listing you will find an instructional video that can assist you. In the top clamp, there is a telescoping tube and foldable legs the bottom clamp has a quick release clamp. A telescoping tube on the top clamp allows us to change the height of the stand from 36 to 59 inches tall, so we won't have to bend over or crouch down and put strain on our backs. After it's folded out, the piece that holds the bike can be folded simply by loosening the knob and tightening it. By turning the knob of the clamp, you’re able to adjust its width to make it narrower or wider depending on the size of your bike frame. In addition, it swivels 360 degrees so you can rotate your bike so you can fix it from any angle. I find this to be a brilliant design because if we need to fix our bike, we need only unfold the stand and unfold the telescopic tube and The portable bike repair stand folds up easily when we are done using it, so we can transport it with ease it can also be stored away when not in use, so it is not With the fold open, the item is only 37 inches long by 8 inches wide, which is quite.
The same as Legs are collapsible, the tripod swivels, and the legs can be adjusted. There are differences There's less stuff in it than there is in the FS The stand tube is shorter than the clamp arm, which leaves less room for pedals to rotate without interference from the main Thus far, I haven't experienced an issue with my bike. It's made of more plastic parts (compared to alloy and steel parts on the FS stand), so I'm not sure how durable it will be in the long run. This stand uses a threaded clamp, which should stand up to normal use, but does not feature the quick-release feature found on the traditional FS stands. Lastly, it is lighter the stand weighs 35 grams less than the FS stand. It seems to be due to the higher percentage of plastic compared to steel, and the smaller size. So quite portable, but again, I wonder whether this is a durable product. It will be interesting to see how it goes. My in-laws and I have already used this for 2 years at their house, so I wanted to replace it. The market price makes it an excellent choice for this use over the long term.
I like the look and feel of it. It is surprising that the finish quality is so good for a tool/equipment used in a shop. I like how easy it is.
I got this to work on my bike and it holds it fine. The battery weighs about 12 pounds, so removing it knocks that weight off. It will still hold that, There is some truth to its claim, but you need to be cautious as it does not hold.
It is really neat how the tripod is designed. Flip clamps let you easily adjust the length. This is something I use daily for adjusting and cleaning my mountain bike, and I can fold, store or take it with me anywhere.
A nice feature it has is the possibility of holding the bike by the seat post or top tube. It is a misnomer to refer to them as quick release. Despite the fact that a quick release lever would be convenient, it is still necessary to screw the knob to tighten or release, then pull out the lever to insert the bike. It is not a huge deal, but it could be more convenient if thought through more carefully.
There was a bike stand that I had that was nearly 20 years old and it was much more heavy duty than that. Your money is not worth it!.
It was sturdy and easy to store. It is a plus that the arm locks and the tripod is stable. This is an excellent gift for anyone who rides a bike.
