My initial impression of this stand was that it was of poor quality as soon as I took it out of the package. Using it on 3 bikes in succession, I set it up as follows I have a gravel bike, a road bike, and a full suspension mountain bike. The tubing is steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber in the same order. I find this stand to be quite useful for my purposes. The only complaint I have is sometimes it might pull the bike forward a little as its weight puts it in that position, but it generally works well and is very useful for tuning and repairing motorcycles.
