For Shimano two-piece cranksets, this is a cheap and useful tool

Shimano Hollow Tech 2 dust covers can be removed with this handy little tool. I have one of these in my Park Tool wrench, but this little guy is a lot easier to use and didn't cost much, so I'm glad I got it for servicing my bike myself so I can ride more and save money knowing I did it right.

When the dust cover is properly tightened, it works well

I didn't have to test against one that was over torqued because mine was just properly tightened. But for the few times I'll use it, it'll be a great deal.
