I purchased the dress in Nickel, which appears teal on my screen, but is a dusty blue This color and weight of fabric compliments the shape of your body very well and it drapes in a manner that makes the most of it. Although the fabric feels smooth, I am concerned that it may begin to pill over time, like my other Prana dresses. Prana is one of the best brands ever, and I have several well-loved xs dresses from them. Assuming there are bra inserts in this dress and it will fit as my previous dresses did, I ordered it in an xs. It fits everywhere EXCEPT for the shelf bra. Considering I usually purchase size 00 or smaller, it's unlikely I will wear the shelf bra. As I am a size 0 in Prana pants and this size (XS) fits me well and hits just above my knee, purchasing a larger size would be unnecessary since the elastic of the shelf bra would not fit. The bra area doesn't have cups, nor does it fit properly. I was SO ROUGHLY MISLED by thinking I was purchasing a FINISHED PRODUCT when it was not. If I wanted to wear this, I would have to pay extra $ for a tailor to sew in a pocket for bra inserts and replace the shelf bra elastic. As a point of interest, the elastic measures approximately 12 inches wide. The length is 75" unstretched and approximately 12 feet long. If you have a band size of approximately 26", it should stretch to 26". If you're 30 or below, I think this size will fit you perfectly, but if you're 32 or above, it might Prana's size chart states that an xs can fit up to a 34, which is odd indeed. This dress has a chest of 7 inches. Despite my purchase of it on sale, it is pretty costly to keep, since it isn't made to fit the size it purports.
My favorite part of prAna was when it first came out. There has been a complete change in the way clothes are made. The only reason I gave it one star was for the pretty color. I think the bra is awkward because it doesn't have padding and it fits awkwardly as a whole. As a medium, I've always bought prAna's clothing. Since Colombia bought the brand, their clothes are no longer fitting the way they Oh no, what a bummer that is.
Compared to other Prana dresses, this dress runs smaller. When it comes to Prana dresses, I usually wear a size 6, and a small in older versions. The height of my body is 5'8" and the weight is 135 pounds As well as its thin and flimsy feel, the dress also has a bit of a stiff feel to it.
My expectation was that prAna would have a better quality dress than this one. There was no lining to it. A return is definitely in order.
It could be criticized, however, as the material is quite thin. I hope it lasts for quite a while, since Pranas prices for sport dresses are rather high.
During these hot summer days, I wear this brand all summer long, their dresses have bra inserts and make it easy to get dressed.
My favorite material from Prana is still the same. Quite quick to dry. A form-fitting silhouette, but one that doesn't look unflattering.
This casual summer dress is perfect for throwing on and going. It fits well, has good quality, and has a nice style. The reason I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, is that it runs long for an athletic dress and is pretty pricey. The rest of it is great!.
