My experience with Amazon was that I was unable to get the larger version in time for my trip, so I bought the larger version from REI

But I'm glad that the bigger version was available to me. It wouldn't have been able to boil enough water for my 50oz GSI French press because of its small size. I was a bit skeptical about using the BPA free rubber on my GSIStove, but the aluminum bottom performed great and I did not experience any melted areas. need to be careful that the flames from the burner don't climb the walls. It will melt if you do that. I was able to use my smaller burner on my GSI stove perfectly.

Despite our efforts, we have not found any silicone kettles that function well, and many of them are quite expensive This is usually caused by the handle being too close to the flame and melting the plastic support holding the handle in place. The one by this manufacturer, as well as that of others by the same manufacturer, is well designed and be durable enough to last through a camping trip.

It is perfect The container is very sturdy and can easily be used to pour water. Besides heating water for coffee, apple cider, and noodles, we also use it to cook food.
