I think this is the problem with the product. It is large and carries some weight. You won't be able to handle this if you are a Solo. It will simply be I find that if you go in groups or with a partner, you can bring more supplies since you can carry them. You should also avoid this set if you prefer to plan your meals entirely in advance and choose not to hunt / gather food on your way. I and my wife bring plenty of food with us when we travel. There is an error on Amazon, where it says the cups are " stainless steel insulated ", but the product box actually says " insulated plastic ". In spite of keeping the set for everything else, we still use it. The fact that Amazon thinks plastic and stainless steel are the same thing is really disappointing. While the rest of the set looks promising, it is still very early in the test. The summer will show whether or not we'll go camping.

The MSR Flex Quick Skillet was the inspiration for my purchase of this pan. There is no sticking to the pan, and it stacks nicely. It is not possible to put one pot in two pots I like the stickiness and nonstick properties of the surface. The sponge is easy to clean and I use a plastic scrubber covered sponge. Cooksets generally come with only one handle, which makes this second handle from the pan particularly useful when cooking in two pots. When the pan is loaded, the handle is steady. There is very little weight in the complete set. There should be no problem with it in the long run. A deep plate/bowl and a sturdy construction are present. Keeping liquids hot was no problem for these mugs. There is a snug fit between the lids. Despite the sippy cup being more convenient on the other side, I would prefer it on the other side. I appreciate the handle on the pot lid staying cool, and the strainer added convenience. As long as you meet your needs, I highly recommend this set, as well as those of the other sizes.

There is nothing to complain about with this set - This is a well built, well sized, and well equipped kitchen/dining area that will host 2 people comfortably and for however long is needed. Despite being about the same weight as a small bag, it would take up a lot of The pack is useful if you can camp, or if you don't have any other items, or if you can even lash it to the exterior of the pack. In this set, MSR has created and built a quality product as usual. I am updating As a result of my field use for several months now, I even love this set I purchased this set because my wife and I use MSR equipment at home regularly, so I use it while in East Africa as well. It could not have been better for me. The meals I have had while camping have been better than the meals I get at home, including roasted bushmeat while outdoors with local herbs and spices and red wine in the wilderness There are many star-rated restaurants in the U. S. With this set, you'll be able to pack it easily, cook evenly, clean easily and impress everyone. My MSR cooker has cooked over an MSR stove (using various fuels), charcoal, and even on the block of a hot engine. The cooker is durable and does its job well. Although I am a single element in the bush, I often find myself having to carry "dead weight" (field operators know what I mean) and being prepared to serve 2 has made many people's nights much more comfortable than they otherwise would have been. When bought twice as much as this set, it's a steal.

Having tried MSR products, I am now a fan. They've always been great to use for me. I have a cook set and a couple of their water purifiers. They feature strong and lightweight construction and come with the cups/mugs for coffee, tea, or whatever you like. There is a good seal between the lid and the mugs, so the lids do not Having a removable handle on both pots is nice in order to have one handle to use for them, and this also prevents the handles from melting or getting too hot over the fire. This set is excellent for cooking for two The backpack may be a little too bulky when you're traveling by yourself, but it is very light, so it could be ideal if you have room. Likewise, the customer service provided by MSR is exceptional. It is the same set as one of my good friends. On a trip, the lid was knocked off and fell upside down on the grate causing a heat to melt the handle in the center. He contacted MSR and they sent him a replacement lid for free, and he simply inquired about getting a replacement I would definitely recommend it. After coming back from a BWCA trip during which the red plastic ring on the lid cracked, the red plastic ring fell off the lid. In addition, the piece that holds the lid for pouring became loose after I dropped the pot. MSR emailed me back and I sent him the large pot. Several years ago, they replaced the large pot, lid, and handle with new ones. My experience has been that they stand behind their products. I will continue to purchase their products for as long as they continue to provide great customer service. I will mention that in this case, it took a couple of emails for them to reply, but in the end, they responded.
