Questions & Answers

How far apart are the mounting screws at the top and bottom?

Vertically, it appears to be 4 5/8". Because none of the top screws are directly above the bottom screw, it's difficult to get an exact measurement, but it's within 1/8".

Is it possible to hang this on my backyard wall?

They do appear to be weather resistant.

What colors are there to choose from?

We are unable to sell them individually due to the way they are packaged from the manufacturer. They come in a variety of colors, but which one you will receive is a gamble.

It appears to be quite sturdy. My "climber" husband bought it to help with his hand strength, and it's been collecting dust in my garage for a month. Maybe one day he'll put it up. It requires a little effort to install because it needs to be mounted to something sturdy, which is why it's still in a box.

Although the book was damaged upon arrival, the seller was extremely helpful and responsive

This was a Christmas present. The holds and book were placed in a box with no shipping materials, and the book appears to have been damaged during shipping by the holds. The holds were undamaged and, because they are made of solid urethane, are fairly indestructible. When I contacted the seller, he was extremely responsive and cooperative, providing excellent customer service. br>I would have given it five stars if it had been packaged better and arrived undamaged. br>br>The surface of the holds resembles that of high-quality climbing gym holds. The texture is pleasant, and there is enough variety to allow for more than just dead hangs. Mounting was a little tricky because each hole had a different mounting depth, necessitating different bolt lengths. (First, I used t-pins to secure it to plywood. ) The plywood was then nailed to the wall by nuts. )br>5 stars for texture and variety of holds, as well as the usefulness of the book. (Overall, very pleased. )br>1 star deducted because it was damaged during shipping and required different length bolts for installation.

There is no mounting hardware included with this item

I really like the board and think it's great for training, but it didn't come with any mounting hardware when it arrived during COVID. Waiting for supplies to be able to put it up during the 19 shutdown was a real disappointment. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for that.

Although it is a great hangboard, it does not include backboard mounting screws

The board comes with eight screws for mounting it to the backboard, but none for mounting the backboard to the wall. They appear to be able to throw those in because they specify which type to use. br>br>Aside from that, it's an excellent hangboard.

It's very simple to set up, and I like how flexible it is

It's simple to set up, and I like that the individual holds can be adjusted in width and angle. I've had a few other finger boards, but this one is my favorite because you can adjust the width to fit your shoulder width, and the crimping rails change in depth as you move horizontally on them, allowing for a wider range of hangs. The pinches are my favorite part of the game. My forearms are completely destroyed by them. Overall, this was an excellent addition to my training.
