It's great to work with them. It's been about 3 months since I installed them, and there have been no issues. The plastic is very durable. Their sturdiness allows kids to climb them without difficulty. It isn't challenging to grab onto/step on, and there are plenty of places to grab/step on. In my opinion, the 2nd washer is unnecessary and even detrimental, as suggested by the other reviewer. As indicated in the instructions, the climbing handle should be placed between the wall and a washer. However, if you do this, the hold will not fit perfectly flush against the wall, there is a tiny gap there. In this manner, the hold, the bolt, and the wall are put at unnecessary risk, decreasing the longevity of the material An attachment that is solid. Would the manufacturer please describe why they included the second washer in their design? The washer is supposed to sink into the wood, right? Nevertheless, you can scrape the second washer and it will be solid. Besides that, you'll get 25 extra washers for free.

I got my daughter the holds for Christmas as part of a present, and she absolutely loves the rock wall she has indoors! It was almost impossible to get 8 screws through a 3/4-inch sheet of plywood (sandwood). I used (5) 3" lag bolts to secure each stud, and several #8 1 1/16" wood screws to attach the plywood to the 2x4's. A group of up to five people can stand on the wall at a time (including adults). In this way, I was able to give the back of the bolts almost 1/4" of clearance, so they wouldn't go through that the drawer is out of the way, I will remove the lag bolts, fill in the holes, and no one will know that this was ever in there.

There are 5 different colors and different shapes. It is a solid hold made of thick plastic that comes in 5 different colors. They can be used in a professional rock climbing environment but I did them as a small wall for my grandkid's play fort. I thought I would have to purchase hardware to mount them, but all the hardware was included unlike other holds that We love these pieces. They were easy to install and look awesome when they are done. Great value for the price. Great Customer Service. When they came, one of the holds had been lost during delivery. The people at Hidden Valley Merchandise got me a replacement product quickly after I contacted them. This was mounted through 3/4-inch plywood, then the mounting nuts were trimmed off flush with the mounting nuts by using an angle grinder.

Though I changed one aspect of the installation procedure, I decided it was not imperative. If you can remove these 2 washers for each piece, you can reduce the package weight and cost. There are also a few of the t-shirts and doodles It is better to bend the nut teeth instead of getting them stuck in the wall for the back side. The two washers per piece will save you some money. In my boys' bedrooms, we built a rock wall using these to make them feel more comfortable. Their favorite part is that they absolutely adore Despite looking a little worn, the climbing holds on this area are sturdy and will hold my boys and their cousins well. 1 years old and older Kids as young as 9 years old can easily grab and climb on these.
