Questions & Answers

What if I want to use these on ?

Drywall cannot be used with these An individual cannot climb on it because it is not strong enough. It is commonly recommended to install them on the backside of a sheet of plywood for optimal support. We also offer concrete mounting anchors for installations in solid concrete walls.

I need to use a drill bit of the proper size for these T-slots Do you have nuts for ?

It is difficult to align the first hammer swing in 7/16 due to its tight tolerance. As of now, the actual OD is 15/32 of an inch The number of 468 is - The second). An 11 is ideal if you can get your hands on one. It would be ideal to have a 5mm or 29/64 bit card.

There is no 7/16" bit in my toolbox. Do you think 1/2" is too big a hole?

My material was 3/4" thick, and it worked just fine. The thicker the material, however, the better. It was mostly 1/2" plywood that I used, and that was as thin as I was prepared to I didn't mind since it was for my 3 year old, so it wasn't too much of a problem.

What are the dimensions of these What would happen if I used 5/8 plywood instead of 3/16 ?

There are two reasons why I would not recommend it In one scenario, the barrel would barely touch the plywood and in another, 5/8" plywood would not be as rigid and strong as 3/4", if you are building it for climbing.

It's good to see the old These nuts worked great as extra holds on the rock wall our kids built
5/5

The plywood grid was made by drilling holes in it and putting T-resses in Each hole has a nut behind it, so we can move the hold wherever we like. My installation process was very simple--I didn't do any fancy things before installing them. As an alternative to bolting it to the plywood with wood spacers and washers, etc. , I merely drilled the right size hole, held a piece of wood on top, and used a hammer to press it Until the hold has been tightened into them, they're not going to fall out. Once a hold has been tightened into them, they should sink into the wood more. The product was exactly what I needed - thank you! This is a heavy duty set- There are not only thin and chintzy people.

They work great but I would like them to be I just finished a rock wall and these worked well
5/5

A 3/4" plywood should have been nut-covered all the way around, leaving about a 3/8" of an inch in the middle. Three things I learned in this project. 2) Don't put in paint or stain until after you paint or stain the wall. One or two of these had poly in them that caused the threads to foul up. 1) avoid installing straight lines near a wall, it's not a good configuration. A variation of alternate rows should be drilled Make sure the screws are replaced periodically since sometimes the hold can get stripped if they are overtightened. However, they have done the job so far quite well.

It was no problem to use nuts for climbing holds
5/5

It was no problem to use nuts for climbing holds. I have purchased these products a second time. The amount I had was about 2 A bolt wasn't taken by 3 out of 100 of the 100 bolts they were able to install, but this is acceptable. My wall was painted, so I utilized golf tees to cover about half of it and styrofoam caulk backing rod plugs for the other half to ensure paint didn't get into the nuts. Do not use golf tees repeatedly. The paint had dried in the slots after I painted them and the screws remained in place. There were some that I gently had to remove by chiseling. It was an easier job with the caulk backing rod from Home Depot. Make a three-eighths of an inch plug using a half-inch rod of caulk backing.

It is a solid T Money is the motive for them
4/5

These T-shirts are the ones I used As I built my home gym, I went nuts. For the money, this is a good product. A couple threads have slipped already and a few have been badly threaded, but not so A 400-word summary The weight of 500 tonnes My troublemakers have been few, I believe there have been only four. There was also an accompanying sticker in every bag. Are there any stickers out there you don't like?.

You can use them to attach a large caster wheel to the bottom of a desk
5/5

We did not like the way the items were stuffed into a box with other stuff. Although they are not the ideal way to attach large caster wheels to the bottom of a cabinet, they provide excellent support for large wheels. Put the bolts through the bottom and in the inside. Savings of more than 50% over buying a 2-pack For $2-$3 you can buy a big box at your local big box store.

We have a problem
3/5

It happens quite often when they are installed that they break. There are some tines that are deformed. It is possible for some tines to It is possible that some of the plates holding the tines will break. It appears that some of the threading is not working. There may be a better option, but I am not aware of it. Knowing that the steel is too thin or weak is all you need to know.

We are satisfied with the service
4/5

While installing, some were bent because the material was a little thin. I think this is still a great product for the price. Irrespective of the description, he showed up on time.
