It is certainly large enough that I'm not qualified to answer, but I'm not sure what size I should use. One single bed mattress is approximately this size. There is a 3" thickness to the foam in the pad. In the event that it is still too stiff, the foam might need to be removed and memory foam might be used in its place. In addition to being washable, the pad is designed to be able to be raked out of the foam for easy removal. Using it as a sleeping surface for hotels may seem like a good idea, but it might move around a lot unless you can keep it securely fastened. That's all I have for now.
This is the way we use it on the floor and it sleeps well. The material is thick and does not compress too much so that it is not I thought it was very well made, with a heavy canvas like cloth over it. is made up of a bar attached at one end that helps it roll up. The straps on it are made of heavy nylon and are secure with good locks, which are still in excellent shape. It was a good purchase for me.
In this case, I ordered only the cot and pad for it, both of which measure 85 x 32 x 19 inches, respectively. There is an xxl size. There is no need to size up.
I want to thank you for reaching out to me. We don't recommend using the dryer on the canvas shell because it can be machine washed. It is just a matter of hanging it up and letting it completely dry. Brittany at TETON Sports is your friend

I bought two of these XXLs at the same time. The smaller XXL was removed before the bigger one was put back on. It is worth noting that the foam insert of one XXL is less than 2" thick and most definitely is not 2" thick The shorter XXL measures 3" shorter than the longer one. It appeared that the outer shell material was smaller as well, but the labels on both the boxes and tags were large. It was clear that one was different from the other after laying on both of them. Although I would have given 6 stars, the poor quality control and QA of the one XXL erased the positives Several different thicknesses are shown stacked on top of each other on the photo, so you can see the difference between them. As seen in the second photo, the one much smaller was packed when in the box. There is a Made in China label on the box. It is not possible for me to assume that the replacement will be correct, and so I am returning both.
Taking consideration of my cot's size, I searched for a bed pad of the same size. I found this one with a size of 82" by on the box, the picture shows the pad with the measurements, and it only shows a section of the pad at 6' 10", but doesn't incorporate the overhanging corner with the pocket hanging Only 78" of padding is actually present on the pad. The product needs to be corrected or the description needs to be changed to indicate how long the product is. It is important that the descriptions provided by the sellers are accurate when you purchase online. It is my request that they send me a new one that is the appropriate.
The pad took a couple of days to get back to its normal flat shape after it had been delivered. Since the pad is relatively big and heavy, it cannot be used on a backpack. Instead, it is intended to be used for stationary conditions. If you're car camping or having a guest over, consider using this as a guest bed (best It was stolen from me one day when I used to own a pad like this one A) from the campsite If someone crossed the line into committing a crime in order to obtain this item (which, again, is very inconvenient to grab and carry), it speaks volumes about the value of the product, in my opinion.
A cheap piece of foam costs $60. 6lbs cannot possibly be the weight of this thing. There is only a 1" thickness to the foam. 2" IS NOT AN OPTION. There may have been a time when they were producing things to a higher standard but tried to cut corners. It's nothing but garbage. Returning to the United States will be my next step. The product specifications should be updated to make it clear that there is only 1 inch of foam and it is of very It was disappointing.
I'll be honest. It's not the smallest or lightest pad in the world, but it's pretty much a 2 inch thick piece of foam. Unlike any other memory foam pillow top, it is as soft as can be. This is a very high quality tent and the stitching is awesome. I recommend this to anyone who loves I bought a universal mat for my wife as she hates sleeping in a tent for reasons of comfort, and she loves it so much now she enjoys camping.
There is no doubt that it is huge. This is a bulky item. Hikers will not be able to enjoy it. Our desire to pitch a tent in an area with water and electricity, as well as not waking up with backaches, also guides us towards pitching a tent in a space with water and electricity. I would call it a mattress topper since it is closest to it. They are placed on our foldable cots, which are padded as well and have a bed material strung all around the frame on something that looks like bungee cord.
While camping with the Marine Corps, I now plan to spend my time driving my truck to a remote location and setting up a comfortable base camp - this is a change for someone who has spent 22 years sleeping on the ground. As a result, I replaced my military sleeping mat with a self-inflating one, which I have found more comfortable Even though inflating one was a huge step in the right direction, I soon came to the conclusion that a cot and mattress pad would be more comfortable. As a 6'3" man, I didn't want my feet hanging off the end of my bed, so I purchased the TETON XXL cot and this pad, and when it went on sale for under $100, I ordered a few more. This pad can serve as a ground mat even without the cot itself, and I may use it in that case. A first difference is that the overall length is 84 inches, but only 79 inches of that can be used. Five inches of the pad are at the top and are designed to hang over the end of the cot and have a small zippered pouch for valuables or maybe a MP3 player, as well as a flat wood slat to assist in folding up the pad. Even when I lie on my stomach, my toes still hang over the end, but I have much better ankle coverage than that, and when I lay on my back, my feet are There is enough room for me to lay out and my 45lb Labrador dog to sleep comfortably on it, and it feels strong enough to last for many years. Sleeping on it is almost as comfortable as being on a real bed, and it is better than any other mat I have used before. I kept the boxes to store them in since it doesn't come with a transport bag, so while I may look for one at a later time, I kept the boxes for now. With snap hooks and heavy duty nylon, the cinch straps can be shortened A pad that is sewn with locking buckles on it. Due to that, plus the slat on one end of the pad, they're really easy to roll up tight or loose, depending on whether you want your pad compressed between camping trips or not. There is a zippered pocket at the head that could be used to put a pillow into, but since I like to flip my pillow over while I sleep, I don't think I'll ever use It is not a pad intended for backpacking, as other reviewers have stated. It is also wide, so it will take up more space in the car than most camping pads do. It's not the most stylish of pads, but if comfort is your priority, this is the pad for you. I just wanted to update my September 13th blog post to say that The rolled pad did not come with a carrying bag, so I stored them until I could find a bag this size that opened on the end. I was unable to find anything this size that opened on the end because of the length of the pad, not because of its diameter. In the beginning, I tried a 16" x 40" duffle bag that was 2-inches larger in both diameter and length than the rolled pad. While the pad fit perfectly inside the duffle bag once inside, it took way too much tucking and forcing to get inside. The results were the same as I had hoped.
