Drymate TCMC88100 Camping Tent Carpet Mat, 7'4" x 8'4"

When it rained, it had a soft, cushiony feel to it and a waterproof backing that worked well. Because I liked it so much, I purchased a second mat for the other half of my tent this year. I did not fully open the package until last week, when I set up camp. The item looked like the same product I received previously. There are definitely differences between the two mats! There is no cushion in the material and it is not as soft as it used to be. There is also a different material for the backing. It's not the size that gives it away, but if it wasn't for that, I would have assumed it was a work mat. It's no surprise that I am unhappy with the newly purchased mat, especially for the cost I paid. According to me, it does what it should, so I'll give it 2 stars. Even though it has not been tested for water repellency, the backing appears to be water resistant and is safer than walking on a Had I known the product had changed, I would not have ordered another. I would have taken the time to order a new one at a more reasonable price. I am extremely disappointed!.

There has definitely been an improvement in this product. There was a time when the price was worth it This soft, pliable fabric is plush and soft. Rather than laying well in the tent, it is now thin, stiff, and doesn't lay flat. I would buy 10 of the old ones if I were an outfitter. It was worth the money to buy the old ones, but not the new ones.

As soon as I had used it for the first time, I rolled it up, and I stored it inside my garage (with the rest of my camping equipment). I rolled it up a couple of months later, and I saw that the waterproof side was stuck to itself in multiple places. Though I tried pulling the material apart to separate it from the mat, even pulling it slowly began tearing the backing away from the felt. As a result, the mat is no longer waterproof, and there are places where it has extra materials stuck to it, which affects its feel underneath Please do not store this mat in your garage if you purchase it!.

As a result of setting up camp on rocky ground and being tired of crawling around on it, I bought this sleeping bag. There is absolutely no reason not to invest in this! Two days have just passed since we returned from vacation Our camping trip included this in our setup, and I thought it was a great addition. A tent floor is more comfortable because it's soft, warmer, and more comfortable to walk on. My husband moved camp three times, and one of those times he took up the carpet before I'd had a chance to change clothes and pack my personal belongings, and I wasn't happy about it! A sweeping is not necessary to remove the carpet In addition to the portable broom and dustpan we use on the tent itself, we also use it to clean the floors. Using the included straps, it is also easy to roll up and carry. I looked at it for the first two weeks of daily use and it still looks as good as when I first got it. Considering foam tiles versus this carpet, I thought it would be easier and cheaper while providing just as much if not more comfort. This tent carpet folds up in a very compact package and comes with a carrying handle so it doesn't add too The material on the tent floor stops things from getting wet and keeps things warm and dry, so much so that I didn't realize there was a puddle in my tent until I was packing to leave. I think it also helped keep things a little warmer inside. Upon arriving at my destination, I let it air-dry, vacuumed it, and folded it up so I could easily transport it the next time. This is a great tool. I am only negatively biased based on my own experience as a glamper - There needs to be another color option besides that industrial gray.

We pulled this carpet from under the tent when packing up and noticed that there was water underneath, and laid it across the picnic table bottom up as we soaked up water from We manually wiped down this carpet after we had manually cleaned it. When we were finished, it was dry and ready for the next cleaning. In the colder months, the thermal barrier is awesome since it keeps us warm when temperatures sink below zero. We're so glad we have this cover now that keeps the occasional stick or acorn from hurting our feet. The product is definitely superior to their competitors, and I am seriously considering purchasing two more to further enhance the bedroom I love how lightweight and easy it is to compact, how easy it is to clean and how drying out fast it is.

The comparison was a bit confusing for me. There are rugs for outdoor use. I was surprised at how thin this was. It is like a thin felt pad similar to those small round furniture anti-scratch pads you may have used to protect your flooring. A rubberized bottom is painted on top, but the bottom is paper thin. A tent pad is better than no tent pad, but it's not sure how much better it will be than an outdoor carpet or There would probably be more padding on that if it was thicker. The rest of it however seems to be well made and durable. It appears that kitchen scissors can be used to cut it to size.

Because of the difference they have made in my camping comfort, I bought two of them. No more cold, wet plastic floors anymore! It was excellent that these carpets kept the tent dry and comfortable despite recent rains. My car vacuum I use to keep the tent clean. When we close the tent, these roll up into manageable, compact parcels so they are easier to manage. If you are tired of the cold, wet feeling you get when you are camping in a tent, I highly recommend these carpets.
