The length of these shoes is a bit longer than my Skechers D'lites. A medium thick insole is placed on top of the memory foam and they are perfect. Without my insoles, they are too large.
This is the 8 that I bought. In Skechers D'lites, I usually wear size 5, which is my usual size. I could have used a little extra length with these they were wide enough. It is possible that these might not be suitable for you if you suffer from bunions since they are narrow around that area Even though I use inserts, I probably could have got by with the 8 Wide.
In addition to taking them on tar trails, I have also taken them on the Superior hiking trail, which is relatively flat and not terribly In order to achieve that, they work hard. This is the most challenging thing I have ever done.
Despite the fact that I don't know anything about the weight, they're not too My walking boots have proven durable in rough terrain and I have walked six miles in them without any problem.

I was comfortable with the boots right out of the box, they took very little time to break in in the tongue area and around the ankle, with minimal breaking in on the first hike. They had excellent traction, were comfortably roomy in the toe area, and were secure in the heel area. With the memory foam in them I walked on bottoms that were so comfortable and were waterproof. I hiked through creeks and my feet did not get wet. I would definitely buy them again because they are lightweight and don't fatigue my ankles or legs. As far as I am concerned, I have no problems ordering my regular size 11.
I ordered half a size up (usually in Skechers, I wear size 7), so I could wear extra socks in winter, or if my feet swelled enough to cause them to swell in summer, and both of these were accommodated no problem. The boot seems well made, lighter than a real hiking boot, yet the footbed feels as though it is built to withstand hiking. A couple of extra arch supports would have been good, like what my Go Walk air shoes have, but an insole would be easy to add. As soon as I walked on my treadmill in them to see how well they would break in, I didn't get a blister or have any problems - I got a real workout with those, since their weight is at least triple that of my light walking/running shoes. While the upper laces would have been nice to have hooks for, I still had no trouble getting my foot into the shoe. I have a high instep and arches, btw. The picture looks exactly like in the real world.
The fit is true to size and they are comfortable The main reason I bought them was to wear them outdoors as a A small weakness in one leg due to some back issues led to me needing extra ankle support. These have come in very handy. For heavier socks, I sized up a half size, but I don't think that I needed to do so. In terms of running shoes and boots, I tend to size up. The size of these shoes, however, appears to be very accurate.
I really love these boots, but I got them but they died on me after Since I can't break my shoes, they tend to last me for a very long time. In the end, I usually get rid of them simply because I am tired of them, we don't yet have a pair that we want to part with. As a result, I'm sorry to find out that these have begun to fall.
Normally, I wear a size 8, so I ordered skater boots in a 8, but I found them a bit too small, so I exchanged them for a The perfect translation.
However, the size is incorrect and the shoes are way too.
The shoes fit as expected. However, I would have preferred to go up a size and possibly add insoles if necessary. With thin socks, I can wear these. It's a true pleasure to wear these shoes and I wear them on a regular basis. In addition, I would have preferred that they upper two 'hooks' were actually hooks, instead of thread. From through I style myself. When I wear my boots, I like to leave my laces tied and simply route them through the two final hooks. Tie/untie these in order to remove. Hence, I will need to tighten or loosen them. I don't see why it would matter.
Since they're really more like sneakers with high ankles, I hesitate to call them "boots. " It's great to have them! The socks you wear should make a significant difference in the amount of comfort you get when walking long distances. You may want to wear thicker socks that cover your ankles, which is less than convenient in the summer With only thin ankle socks, the shoes really rubbed my ankles and I had no choice but to give up after a short period of time. As used by me, these shoes fit very true to my average shoe size. You might even want to consider going a half size up if you think you'll need it, particularly It ended up being a bit tight with the thicker socks since I didn't prepare for that. You do not feel that it is too tight, so you can choose whether or not you would like to go a half size up. It's a pretty good pair of sneakers, overall! Although I had some negative things to say about them, they weren't all that bad for the price. These are not regrets at all for me.
