The pros are The fit is great and my size 9 is perfect. The 10 and the 10 fit perfectly together. Since I have a flat foot, these are the correct size for me. My Salomon Speed Cross 4 running shoes provide arch support. I bought these hoping they would be the same--they make no sense at all. I hope that the same size, in the same brand, fits like this, but with a bit more ankle support for trail runs. I was disappointed to find that the same size, in the same brand, fits so differently. This shoe had a weirdly loosened heel, and the shoes have not been worn There is no arch support in these. If the bottom of your foot is shaped like a frying pan, try them, but my feet actually have a slight I found them to be rather stiff and uncomfortable around my ankles. The very nice wool hiking socks I was wearing rubbed raw my ankle skin after wearing them around the living room for just five minutes. You are not allowed to do that!.

The pros are A light weight, perfect fit, sticky outsole, waterproof and breathable sneaker with a gorgeous color. All of the pairs I received had a sloppy stitching job on the sides of the tongue and I could see glue all over the soles. I was so in love with this shoe that I ordered from different places to see if I could find a better pair. At this price, Salomon shoes don't seem to be as high quality as I would expect. I just "killed" my previous Salomon hikers after many years, and I just don't trust these to last just.

Despite several tough, sloppy hikes with wet conditions, I never felt my shoes getting wet from inside. I was not too sweaty even with the shoe on my feet despite the heat. The only downside is that they don't hold up to long hikes, although they are nice and have great traction. The boots I have are too heavy and clunky for me. My only problem with them is that they make me trip and weigh me down. I like my sole to bend some, which is different from most hikers who would prefer a heavy, stiff sole. These heels There is only one negative that I've noticed, which isn't a big deal to me. The tongue does not cover the opening in the top of the boot to my satisfaction. That to me is more of an aesthetic issue and does not take anything away from the highly functional tool. Since I have not worn them in very wet conditions yet, I cannot say how waterproof they are, but since they are made of Gortex, I assume they will perform well in this regard. Whenever they go on sale again, I might pick up another pair so that I have enough to replace my old ones at some point! There has never been a boot that I have liked THIS much before!.
