It has a really nice arch support for me.
I ordered the half size up 7 if you have bunions, but if you do not, perhaps a wide width. I have small bunions and ordered the half size up 6. I wore thick socks with these shoes and found them to be very comfortable. I wore mine for almost 10 hours a day and my feet felt great afterwards. It is totally worth a try.

I am usually an 8 or 9. This is the boot I bought for a recent winter trip to Iceland. The size was perfect. I wear an 8 in most shoes and the 8 wide fit me just right.
