Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how the arch support works in these ?

It has a really nice arch support for me.

When shopping for size wide width, should I get it if I have moderate bunions?

I ordered the half size up 7 if you have bunions, but if you do not, perhaps a wide width. I have small bunions and ordered the half size up 6. I wore thick socks with these shoes and found them to be very comfortable. I wore mine for almost 10 hours a day and my feet felt great afterwards. It is totally worth a try.

What is the duration of the break? How long will it take for these shoes to arrive?

My answer is in agreement with all the others. The break is not necessary- A period is upon us. One of the biggest pluses of these shoes is their comfort- I found this seat to be very comfortable right

Can it be used to treat ?

While the boot has built-in arch support, the relative stiffness of the boot as well as the ankle support would be helpful for tendinitis

A rough size-up and some important info I found on the Merrell website
5/5

An 8 would be my regular shoe size and an 8 would be my dress shoe size. Boots with a volume of 5 inches. A size 8 is what I ordered. It was a 5, but the Moab 2 felt tight and the toe box was restrained. Since there was contradictory information in amazon comments (size up 1/2 size, size up full-size), I chose to go with a size 6 instead. Having gotten the wrong size, I decided to visit a Merrell outlet store to figure out the right size.
Right sizing was 1/2 size up from what you consider your normal hiking boot size. Instead of an 8, we will use a 7. In order to get a 9, I needed a 5. Exactly what I wanted. Despite her ignorance, the employee was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. These boots have a few things you need to know. This is true1. Models like this can not only be made by Merrell, but they can also be painted Design that is water resistant. According to her, the waterproof Moab 2 is tighter on the feet than the other model, perhaps because of that waterproofing technology. Featured b. 2. As you can see from the link below, the toe box in Moab 2 is smaller (tapered) than some Merrell's other footwear (like the model I linked to below), but if you get the right size, you will need to break it in a little bit. I was only able to take part in one part of the day. ) * 3. There is a slight heel and a shank on the Moab 2. When a slope is slippery, it offers extra grip. The footbed also has pronounced arch support. I find my foot feels more comfortable in these shoes than many others. It appears to be pointing downhill when I am standing on a level surface. It may feel this way, according to the employee. Additionally, she indicated that if the sole fee is used frequently, it should work for people with a medium income Arches with high ceilings. As I have a flattish arch and am somewhat thin, I have a low arch They were barefooted. The Moab 2 in a size 9 is something I would like to buy. I want to try a new shoe with a Vibram sole and pronounced support, but I like the Vibram sole. I sometimes feel a slight readjustment in my spine and even my hip muscles after using the Moab 2. I have sometimes felt slightly sore after stretching, but maybe that is just the result of stretching them out. Using the design, the employee told me the spine posture will be optimized. Therefore, I conclude my other footwear was not providing adequate support for my frame. Besides showing me the shoe, she also showed me a Merrell mid hiking boot that she said is great for people with low arches. It also has a big Since I also bought (the Chameleon 7 Limit), I will also need those as well I am happy with my purchase. My sincere thanks to you,.

It was exactly the size I needed
5/5

I am usually an 8 or 9. This is the boot I bought for a recent winter trip to Iceland. The size was perfect. I wear an 8 in most shoes and the 8 wide fit me just right. I purchased the wide size due to my wide feet, so I would not have to squeeze in multiple layers of thick socks. I am so happy with how it turned out! With these boots I did not have to break them in for an adjustment period they were comfortable from the moment In spite of the fact that I didn't pack them with socks, the boots were still Despite the cold and ice of the Iceland winter trail glaciers and hiking trails, they never let my feet get wet or too cold, and I was never soaked by the water. It was great, but we had to wear Yaktrax on the bottoms of our boots most of the time because of the terrain. When I first got these yaktraxs I was a little worried that they wouldn't fit on the wider boot, but it didn't matter It was very easy to walk 200+ miles on these the last three weeks in Iceland, and I admire how well the boots perform. I look forward to many more adventures on these in the future! I really like the boot and I think it's a great buy!.

In hot and cold weather, these hiking shoes are great
5/5

As a resident of Chile, I visited San Pedro de Atacama, where I was amazed at the comfort of the shoes. able to hike without any problems in the desert with high temperatures and my feet were just fine, and when I was at the Geysers with freezing temperatures and some water around, these shoes were exceptionally waterproof and accurate. Great to be able to work with them and am looking forward to many more adventures together. The letter P. It was fun to try out hiking shoes from more than seven different brands. You won't regret buying them as they aren't the cheapest, but they are the best. Don't forget to buy wool socks, too! For the different temperatures, I got thin and thick ones.

comfortable at all! They were recommended on several websites' lists of the best hiking shoes and had positive Amazon reviews, so I bought them
3/5

The shoes were at first comfortable and proved to be good at gripping on uneven ground. As a result, the sole has very little flex, so there is a lot of pressure on your heel since you cannot roll forward onto the ball of your foot as you would also do by walking. Pressure on the heel can lead to foot problems when it is not relieved. When the 7-day period is over As I struggled through my one-mile hike in these boots, I imagined taking off the boots for the last mile to alleviate my aching This pair of shoes is being returned.

Boots that are solid enough to hike in
5/5

These puppies had to be walked for about a full day to get used to each other. The shoes are very comfortable once they are broken in. The fact that I have weak ankles means that tennis shoes are not a viable option It's nice how these boots are high enough to reach the ankles and how they feel very secure. Also, the color is very appealing to me. I'm not sure how to call it but it has brown accents with peach accents. Thick and durable bottoms make it ideal for outdoor use. Slick surfaces are made easier by their high level of traction. This is definitely the perfect hiking boot under $200 that I found after much research. As well as being waterproof, they are sturdy. Normally you wouldn't go swimming in them, but if it starts to rain you'll be able to wear them for a while.

These are awesome shoes! These are 1/2 size larger than what I usually wear
5/5

These are awesome shoes! As a result of doing a hike that was pretty elevated, I got them half a size up so I could have some toe room. They are completely waterproof and extremely When I went to REI before ordering these, I tried on about five different hiking boots, and these were by far the most comfortable fit.

It is evident that they were I like the shoe a lot
3/5

The soles are included, but the insoles are not. Calling Merrell to confirm they will be there was a good idea. Following that, I ordered them direct from Merrell again. Ordering from Amazon has become so frustrating, and I keep getting stuff that clearly wasn't intact, not to mention that this is the third time this has happened. I'm done with Amazon if you don't get together. It's like you care about it.
