Questions & Answers
Among the main differences between the Targhee II and Targhee III is the tread. Compared to the Targhee II, the Targhee II has larger and more multifunctional cockpits Targhee III for instance has smaller, more directed lugs to help you push forward. We also reduced the volume of the toe box and made it less bulky, so some fans have found it to fit a little more snugly While it does not have KEEN's original fit, despite its wide dimensions, it can still comfortably accommodate wider feet.
With its more streamlined design, the Targhee III is made for those that want to get to their hiking destination much sooner, while the Targhee II is designed for those who want to enjoy their hiking trip in the long run. A higher volume shoe such as the Targhee II will fit wider feet as well.
Targhee III is what we're looking at.
My feet are wider and I can wear them comfortably.

Keens are a great brand of hiking shoes made in Cambodia. I purchased a pair last year, and they were comfortable right out of the box. After wearing them around the house for a week, I started getting blisters on my toes. I purchased a pair this year that were made in Thailand. There was a smaller toe box than in the previous pair. The size and model were the same. There was a stiff top to the opening, carving into the It's a game of chance. My next attempt will be to keep trying the backpack because the design and durability appeal to me, as well as its lightweight but good support for rugged As well as crawling up steep concrete sidewalks, they're perfect for climbing in cities.
This pair of shoes is so great that I bought two of them--one raspberry and one blue. The shoes I like the most are my go-to shoes and I wear them every day. Although Keens produce a good quality product, their staff was overburdened during this pandemic and when I had to return my shoes, it was a Those are the reasons why I bought my next two pairs from Since I hike a lot, I usually get my shoes half a size larger, so I can wear thick socks and not lose any neatly manicured nails if I'm going When I tie them, I make sure that they are tight.
Keen hikers vary in size so much. I can't figure out why. Also, this boot is very heavy and hot - they're not comfortable at all. It wasn't suitable for a hike in the spring or summer. On a positive It is of quality leather I consider it to be a Targhee However, it has a good look and appears to be stiff at first. There is no doubt that the tread on the bottom would prove invaluable on uneven, rocky trails for this reason alone I gave it two stars. There is a wide variation of sizes between the shoes, even between the right and left. This boot is broken on my orders - A long-term planning meeting will take place in the near future I tried out the boots on a long hike, but I quickly regretted them after my ankles became sore after wearing them around the house for an hour.
on KEEN info and helpful reviews, I had very high expectations for "foot comfort". But alas, even with the supposedly perfect-fit of size 8, those expectations failed to live up to my expectations. Within a matter of minutes of slipping my feet into "Duckworth" wool socks, my feet started to hurt. The weather is so unpredictable now that I have no idea what to try Shoes are a real problem for me as Birkenstock sandals are the only things I can wear all day without feeling restricted (any!)! The following are symptoms of discomfort. Please be polite. Considering this cool color combination that works well with black, khaki, or blue jeans, it's not a combination you'll tire of. It's too much- I'm not sure how to begin It's too much- They are light and not at all garish like some sports' footwear.
Wide toe bed in the keens is a highlight for me. While hiking in the snow I find the shoes to provide good support and keep my feet warm and dry.
I love these shoes for hiking on off-road trails I was out in the woods roading. The grip on these shoes is excellent, especially on slippery surfaces (those with rain must still be careful not to slip), but when it comes to trees and rocks, these shoes are a 10/10. The fact that the front has a kick protector is also impressive, since I usually bang my toes quite a bit. We recommend ordering a half size up from your normal size just in case your feet slide forward in the shoe when you wear it. An area that is spacious at the toes. It is a good idea to break them in for a week before actually using them or you will get a slight ankle rub, but once they are broken in, they fit perfectly.
As I was replacing my old worn out Reeboks with a new pair, I decided to look for sneakers. When my brother bought a pair of Keens, I liked the style of them so much I went shopping for a pair of my own. The size of 9 had to be adjusted a bit. The shoe size I choose had to be between 5 to 10 so that the insert could fit comfortably, but I used Amazon Wardrobe to try various styles of Keens shoes until I found one I liked. The design of this shoe has a deep enough footbed that my foot doesn't slip out even with an insert in, and the extra space between the toes means that the insert doesn't bunch up. This was a search that took a while, but it was well worth it, the shoe feels fabulous on my foot, and I am absolutely sure that even just walking in Manhattan I will not slip or fall since these puppies have such amazing traction.
I am in love with these Targhee's! I am wearing my second pair of shoes. A little too small tongues on the left shoe are cutting into the top of my foot, the lace area on the inner shoestring is the place where it cuts in. There might be a small defect on my left foot since it is the only foot I wear.
