It has only taken 2 months for these boots to fall apart on the farm/ranch after I bought them for working on the farm/ranch. The leather on the shaft began cracked and the rubber on the toe box began crumbling. It has been my goal to find a reliable work boot that can withstand standing all day in pastures and be slip resistant on various terrains. Despite these boots being semi waterproof, soaking my feet during a walk in the pastures in the early morning happened with dew on my feet. The boots were comfortable, however they did not withstand wear on the farm/ranch, and had to be replaced regularly. They are comfortable enough to wear all day without wearing out. I was very disappointed with the quality.

I took them hiking in the pouring rain along the Red River Gorge cliffs, a steep decline and a very steep climb! My hiking boots are typically worn with two socks (a padded wool hiking sock and a cotton sock to wick moisture away). As I first put them on, these boots were overall a little tight for me to wear with my double socks. As I have a wide foot, a size 10 fits me perfectly. They have only been worn indoors, but I can see that they will be perfect for hiking in the great outdoors. This is the only thing that disappoints me about an article that rated these boots as the #1 hiking shoe for people This boot does not provide much arch support, IMO, which is a problem for someone with chronic plantar fasciitis for over a year. There is a lack of strength in the inserts. I agree, however. The factory inserts in these boots are fine, but I had expected more from the factory inserts, but I'm still very pleased with these boots overall. I normally use PowerStep shoe inserts in my footwear, and with those inserts in these boots, I'm fine. It is hard for me to say whether or not they are waterproof, as I have not worn them yet outdoors.

I would like to wear a 6 1/4 to 7 1/4. I, 5, and A size 5W in hiking shoes and a size 7 in work boots, plus some old Keen work boots that were size 6 once upon a time. They were in the 6 when I ordered them. The size 5 is true to size, and they fit well. I'm returning them, so I can't attest to whether or not they are waterproof. There are pros Despite the fact that my feet are wider than normal, I did not feel restricted at all. Despite the shoes being beautifully made, it looks like they might not hold up very long. I ended up buying another pair of shoes That was a huge The first boot fits as expected, whereas the second has a spot under the metal lace insert that has only gotten bigger as the boot has been broken Earlier this week, I even had a shoe repairman stretch it out for me. This is bad. The only improvement is a slight one. There has been so much swelling under this spot that I can barely wear the boots and I can barely wear the boot anymore - it hardly fits anymore. My new $140 boots are so uncomfortable I don't want to wear them. The boot is the only one affected by this problem, and it has been getting worse the more I wear it. Keen hiking sandals have been my go-to shoes for years, but I needed boots when I moved to a colder climate. It was exactly as expected that the boots would fit. The size 7 is usually the size I wear. The boot is extremely comfortable, but the boot itself is rather rigid due to its rigid soles. I ordered a size 5, but went up half a size to accommodate wool socks, and the fit is perfect. There will be a long time before the company is able to generate any profits. Despite the fact that these boots are a bit pricey, I am excited to wear them.
